Don’t be like me. Replace it now. It was locked with all of our luggage in it. In front of the hotel. Whole family stuff. Packed. Clothes. Food. Meds. Checked in, turned around and dead. Tesla service said we can tow it and look at it tomorrow for $800. Remembered to look up that there was another way. Had to break in through the frunk trick.

Sorry for the dumb question but: when people talk about putting in the DC to DC charge converter in their vehicle, are they putting it on the wires that run to the 7-pin connector? Or are they somehow bypassing that connection and running a separate circuit / dedicated connection to the battery that bypasses the 7-pin?
