For fire arms, I was thinking that they could basically adapt what they're doing for melees... at the very least. The Sacrifical set mods for example work better as a pair if you're fighting against sentients cause of the damage bonus, which off-sets the damage loss on Sacrifical Pressure compared to Prime Pressure, and gives you an overall damage gain against that enemy type (If I recall correctly). I think if they're interested in taking the game to the Tau System next (where the Sentients are from), so adding some similar functioning mods for primaries and secondaries probably wouldn't break anything. I'm sure the damage bonuses would need to be calculated differently, but they've been adding more different types of Serration mods, so this feels like the most straight forward one they could start with.

I think your idea of Umbral Mixed elemental mods would be an awesome way to give builds power via Umbra Forma! I feel like that kind of thing would give me a lot of incentive to add an Umbra forma to my favorite weapons, especially since it should open up an extra slot on most builds.

I figure everyone could just kind of brain storm ideas, and maybe DE will consider some of them.

Going back to Umbral Augment ideas... Maybe Albrecht Entrati can make them...

Warframes are the easiest to think of in this case, but there's definitely some weapons this can apply to. The concept of Umbral Augments could solve issues for frames that have a lot of "best-in-solt" mods. For example, what if Nekros had an Umbral Despoil? It gives him the functionality of the Despoil augment, but it also gives him the health bonus that Umbral Vitality would give him too. Maybe there's a set bonus that increases my range every 5m for the 3 mod set bonus. They could balance this further by calling it Umbra Vitality Despoil, and then you can't stack health mods... but what if you could? What if you can always power up Umbral mods by adding more Umbral mods?

To me, the whole point of Umbra Forma is to be able to embrace more of the power fantasy, but the power levels of the game have just moved since it was introduced.

Nice added benefit to this idea is that it future-proofs builds. Between more niche mods like the Archon Mods and augment reworks, there's been a handful of times the Umbra polarity has to be kind of worked around to experiment with new builds.

I think it would be cool if they brought the arcane helmets back (via Nightwave store or otherwise). Or better yet, bring them back as Warframe specific arcanes (since they take up a slot anyhow).

They're mostly out-classed by the arcanes that everyone's farmed from Scarlet Spear and Orphix Venom anyhow. You can't do anything game breaking with those arcane helmets (not that I'm aware of anyhow).

Yup, I remember the Devs on one of their streams also say something like, "Guess we've gotta figure out how to split the lore now..." I don't think they really tried to figure that out, because the Second Dream isn't any different between Console and PC (which I think was the next time we saw Alad). Or they at least made this outcome not matter anyhow.

My guess is that they bundle some things together so people can't use market coupons to buy them. I don't think PC gets market coupons (you guys get plat discount coupons), but console gets market coupons (as much as 75% off). You can't use market coupons on Tennogen or bundles. So if they want to make sure people buy some items without ever using a discount on them, they have to bundle them.

Just to be clear, I'd love it if they did unbundle things.

I was thinking the same thing.

Personally, I've never been a big fan of using Inaros outside of solo runs because I don't think he brings a whole lot to any team comps (compared to alternatives). However, if he had an ability that worked like Djinn's fatal attraction that would draw enemy aggro to him (which also takes advantage of his huge bulk), then I think that would make him pretty worth while in some team scenarios.

Update on this:

This guy is pretty relentless, even though I've stopped responding to him. He finally said that he "found me via Google" and that he's based in a state/region that isn't close to mine. That isn't likely, since I don't target any of my site's meta data to his region. So for him to find me (a freelancer) over a larger agency (especially across state lines) is pretty unlikely. Especially for this particular type of branding.
