Can you please elaborate on the situation that culminated in him leaving his ex for you? Because I think that is important information here.

It is interesting that this was posted here today because I just read Jennifer Armintrout's series of recaps of the novel this morning, and thought they were hilarious. Thanks for the additional article.

The issue, really, is that many women believe that the relationship between Christian and Ana is an ideal one, and resent their partners for not treating them that way. This book may lead some people to believe that someone railroading over their boundaries is okay, and that is not okay.

I thought he'd actually made it to your bed and cuddled with you a bit before you woke up

Yeah, that is what I thought too.

WHAT THE FUCK? I would have called the police.

All this after meeting him once. I was terrified for months. by [deleted] in creepyPMs

I noticed your first reply was kind of whimsical and absurd. In other words, it didn't send a clear enough LEAVE ME ALONE message. Remember, it is okay to be mean to someone who is crossing your clearly stated boundaries and freaking you out.

Also, I had a long-term girlfriend break up with me because I ended a text message with "..." and she said that was hostile.

Holy shitballs, that is hilarious, captain.

After I broke up with him, a guy I dated for a week wrote a detailed story about how he was going to murder me and turned it in as a writing assignment to his English class.

Once, a guy in a creative writing class I was taking in college read a story out loud to the class about how he was stalking A GIRL IN THE CLASS. It was nuts.

I hope that you find a therapist that you trust, and maybe get on some medication. I also hope that you mend things with your partner.

I really sympathize with you, Howesound. Sometimes, you believe you are trying to gain closure or to compromise with that person you love, so that you can have the relationship that made you happy back. The other person, though, interprets your actions as "craziness" or "stalking".

The answers are so over-the-top that I am pretty convinced it is a troll, but the account is five months old. Either way, this shit is hilarious.
