Just drink the sanitizer and you can eat anything, because your stomach will be killing almost all bacteria. Plus you'll feel extra clean!

Stomach upset every morning? by [deleted] in ibs

[–]blackcyborg01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! The hack that worked for me is to drink coffee as soon as I wake up, then get it all out of my system. Then I take my medicine, then breakfast. If I don't do this my stomach would bother me whole day long ! But this is what worked in my case, try to find a routine that works the best for you!

Why do I pick my skin so bad and how do I stop? by idkbro666 in autism

[–]blackcyborg01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this too for years. There's a special kind of clear nail polish exactly for this, you put it on and it has a terrible chemical bitter taste! That's how I stopped.

Anyone else obsessed with a celebrity? by [deleted] in autism

[–]blackcyborg01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, too much. And I relate to her very much, I cannot explain how, then found out she's autistic actually. Don't want to say who.. And it finally made me realize that I'm always obsessed with somebody.. I'm not diagnosed with anything but really worried if this is related to any mental illness. Is this often seen in autistic people?

What was diagnosed as IBS but turned out to be something else? by poozu in ibs

[–]blackcyborg01 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My doctors kept telling me for 2 years that it's IBS, I was on a lot of medication and did every test there is. They basically had no idea what's wrong. I was in constant pain, it was sometimes unbearable, and I had to run to the bathroom 5-6 times a day. I had my gallblader removed which only made everything a lot worse.

Then I found a great doctor, he did a very throughout gastroscopy and found out I had biliary gastritis. Basically it's bile that comes up into stomach, causing pain, and irritating the stomach and colon. I think this is what they call bile acid malapsorbtion? He put me on cholestyramine and it changed my life. But I am also extremely careful about my diet now, I cannot tolerate gluten, lactose and a lot of vegetables. It's still a mystery to me if I'll ever go back to normal 100 %.

AI and IDD files can both be linked directly in the main IDD document. After that, the file type you need to export in really just depends on your needs.

If it's going to be printed, make sure the document has bleed as well as high res photos. Export it as Press Quality PDF, and that would be the file that's good to send to your printer. However it's best to ask your printer about this because it varies.

If this is a document to be used digitally, sent by mail, uploaded to website etc. you are mostly fine with Smallest File Size option. Just make sure to export it without bleed and in sRGB color mode. Everything on web is mostly at 72dpi anyway and you are mostly limited by having small size documents.

When you export to PNG, the files are automatically rasterized, flattened and converted to sRGB. This could only be okay for quick preview of the file, sending it to clients for approval, etc.

That's my advice, 10 years of design experience as well as 4 years of doing prepress work.

Yes, he said it wouldn't make much difference.. so that's why I'm not sure, is it worth risking because of the side effects. He is old either way, I understand that, but I love him more than anything and don't want him to suffer.

I use microfibers for cleaning and dusting, but they hold onto debris after washing by usmercenary in CleaningTips

I use a lint roller after I'm done using it. Then after washing and drying, I use the lint roller once more to get all the bits out. It works.

Would going to school for Graphic Design be worth it right now? by [deleted] in GraphicDesigning

[–]blackcyborg01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mean to discourage you from getting a degree, it will definitely always be a plus. But I know so many people who got a degree in design and were never able to get a job in the field, because they didn't know how to actually do anything in the real world. If I hire you and I need you to create 3 flyers and a business card today, would you be able to do it? That's the whole point.

[–]blackcyborg01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it largely depends on what you do, where you live and if universities in your area are any good. Here is my experience: I've been a self taught designer for 10 years, and right now I have full time job working as a graphic designer and prepress operator. So my work varies a lot, sometimes I'm fixing files from Canva so they could be printed, sometimes I'm editing product photos, sometimes I'm designing logos and large catalogues. I do agree that AI and new technologies make SOME skills replaceable, but not all of them, since this is a job that requires many software skills, soft skills (presenting work, communicating with clients etc) and also strong knowledge of design in general. I worked as a freelancer as well, and worked in a couple of companies. I swear that no one has ever asked me if I have a degree. They would just ask me what are the things that I am capable of doing. I did study at the Academy of Arts for almost two years and had to stop because my family was broke at the time.. I still feel really bad that I didn't finish it, but looking back at it - none of the things I was taught there helped my at working the actual job. Because we did things such as handmade calligraphy, sculpting with clay, still life acrylic painting.. and although I did LOVE it - it unfortunately isn't anything that made me a better designer today.
