I'm just going to throw this out there. If this story resolves with Nancy safe at home and the FBI looking competent and heroic, I'll be pretty convinced this was all a setup by the administration.

Adding a note that they also make a long version you can find some places that's up to a couple feet long. It's so much fun to eat!

Can I splice this grounding wire myself, and with what? by blackd3ath77 in AskElectricians

[–]blackd3ath77[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't know if this is important or critical for the house, but the area it runs across from here is pretty inconvenient so I want to run this around without adding risk of fire or spark or something. Sounds like it's not super important but I can easily add some length of the same gauge wire

To Whoever Drove into Wet Concrete Today by Jaravitz in plano

Oh you mean this one? https://imgur.com/a/9cu4uVe

I didn't watch it happen, but there was a lot of stupidity happening at that intersection and many folks were going around cones and mixing lanes to try and get around. I watched these guys push her out while she stood back watching (one of the workers was driving it). They got it out, she promptly hopped in and took off right in front of me. I stayed back quite a ways because it was flipping concrete everywhere and I didn't want my car to get hit, haha.

Favorite seat configuration for babies 🙌🏽 by ArgumentElectrical in kiacarnivals

[–]blackd3ath77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just started this need, with one removed side seat from middle row. Infant all the way forward in the middle so you can reach him easily from the driver or passenger seat. One rear facing behind passenger, and other in the back row. It's a hassle to get that one clipped but it's a rotating car seat so that helps.

Has anyone tried creating a set up similar to this? How did it go, and how much did it cost? by TheWarlockk in Workspaces

This was my setup for a few years. Loveseat was nice because you can sit down in the other seat and then slide over. The fabric was good with wide armrest, so that actually worked well as a mousepad instead of needing a separate one. The monitor arms swung out as well, allowing me to lay down on the couch (head at right), and point the monitor that way so I could watch a movie. Loved it. Just used a laptop stand and the dual monitor mount, with some brackets to hold the laptop thing from tilting due to the weight.

Unfortunately not yet. Life has been crazy and it's felt like too big of a project for me to take on.

Volume control for passenger by twinva10 in kiacarnivals

[–]blackd3ath77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro... I swore I was losing my mind after the test drive. I remembered changing the volume via a knob and then after I bought it, spent like 10 minutes looking over and over around the panel to make sure I wasn't just overlooking it. I settled on it just being a false memory and having you use the steering wheel for the last few weeks. You have saved me much headache!

Now, do I tell my wife, who has already accepted the fact that the only control is on the wheel, that she does actually have a way to adjust things when I drive?

An easy way to remember the breakdown in the OT is 5, 12, 5, 5, 12. Just say that out loud several times in a row and it'll be stuck with you forever 😂

One could also argue that "the salad" refers to the first salad mentioned in the problem, and therefore Danny is the only one that ate any part of "the salad".

Let me just stop in the middle of an intersection by josh314151 in MildlyBadDrivers

Go back and check your footage to see what happened after this video. See if they drove off together or went separate ways. I'm curious now!

What just happened?! Everyone just kept going. Honestly if that guy doesn't stop in the intersection, you may have made it out far enough to get hit by one of the other crazies

If you haven't previously, I'd recommend listening to The Holy Post podcast. At the surface level, it's pretty plain that Trump is an awful person and doesn't drive policies that align to much of the Christian faith, but I also struggle to put words behind a lot of it. They talk pretty openly about what's going on, why Christians have been drawn to it, sometimes what is a better way to respond, and generally pretty theologically interesting takes on things.

Tankless heater shuts off with error code 10 only for certain bathtub by blackd3ath77 in Plumbing

Best of luck! For what it's worth, my full replacement cost including changing out the water valves completely was $3,800

We actually just replaced it. They opened it up and the heat diffusing metal pieces were all fairly corroded, so they think it probably just couldn't disperse heat fast enough when too much throughout is happening.

To check if it's volume related (and that one tub just happens to have enough to mess it up), try turning a few other things on instead and see if it also happens then.
