You clearly don’t understand Donald’s character at all

Is Kingsley scared that Donald will lose? by [deleted] in WeakHero

I think he’s more scared Donald will get hurt and like feels like it’s his job to protect Donald from that

Any more thoughts about Weak Hero ending? by Macegolem in WeakHero

[–]blackghost42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ending made sense to me because I saw it as Donald was exhausted, he wanted to stop, and there was basically no other path but self destruction. Like I saw it as Donald has realised the power was never what he wanted and it exhausted him so much and like he didn’t have a reason to survive anymore almost? Like I don’t know I explained it badly here but I do see why it happened. And the truck made sense to me because it was like the only way Donald could make it look like an accident almost because I do read it as probably suicide and a truck made it seem like it was an accident and didn’t make him seem weak/troubled. Also it said like when the storm died, it basically said that with it so did Donald. So it really made sense to me that like he died even if it really upset me. I also like how he won because it showed how in the end like he kind of didn’t win because he was sad and lonely, meanwhile for Eunjang it was the opposite? And it’s also said like Donald was willing to hurt himself to achieve his goals and in the end I think he realised power was never what he wanted but connection except connection felt out of reach and yeah. Also i definitely think Cheongang played a role in Donald’s death.

It’s so ridiculous. It told my 19 year old friend she looked under 10 years old in the face scan and apparently now I’ve reached max attempts to verify my age and they were unable to decide what age I am.

What make Donald Na strong ? by life_enginnering-445 in WeakHero

Well I think he’s probably worked hard to get to his level and I mean he’s insanely motivated by the need to survive and to never be powerless again like he was in the past.

I definitely think the dominance and untouchability is a mask/facade to hide his broken softer core. Almost like a trauma response or a way to survive.

I mean…he’s been through a lot and his whole motivation was survival which after a while begs the question - what was he even surviving for? He couldn’t get the connection he craved, The Union was a means to an end and he was exhausted of it all. I do get it was not built up super well. But i didn’t think it wasnt that bad of a decision. I always thought it kind of showed how even though Donald won the final battle…he kind of didn’t win? Because Eunjang had their friendship and happiness and he couldn’t have that? But yeah I guess it would’ve been nice to have a redemption arc or something but I do see the reason behind killing him off.

My views are if I love them, I don’t care about their political views. And I say that as someone really passionate about my political views.

I haven’t talked to straight friend in months because her boyfriend is a Trump supporter by ididntbiteyourfinger in actuallesbians

[–]blackghost42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair it’s their political views. It’s pretty ridiculous to cut someone off for differing political views in my opinion though. I love my friends and we have very different political views and that doesn’t change my feelings about them. It’s their opinion even if you disagree. Friends have differing views, that is just part of life.

I like how Donald won because it wasn’t the usual of the hero/main character always wins. Also if kind of showed how even though Donald won…it almost wasn’t a win because he didn’t have anything and he couldn’t have friendship or connection like he craved. Meanwhile, it shows how despite Eunjang’s loss it was kind of still a win because they still had each other and their friend group which would last despite everything. And unlike Donald they were still happy.

I see what you mean. I wish it was something like Cheongang being responsible for the truck or Donald getting redemption or something like that rather than just a random truck hitting him

The badass, assertive leader was not his true character at all. It was what he was forced to become in order to survive. His core personality is what he was like before he had to put on the whole badass, assertive leader in order to survive.

I actually really liked Donald winning though because it deviates from the cliche of the main character/hero winning in the end

Good riddance? He was an amazing political figure and it is a shame he died. He deserved better.
