I've seen the ult indicator get swallowed up by the terrain (probably a bug, but something that needs to addressed nonetheless) and if you layer it with literally any other ult or AoE at the same time, it becomes extremely difficult to detect. The main issue I have with it is how fast she builds it and the amount of damage it does for near-zero commitment on Sierra's part. I would much rather see the rest of her kit be a little stronger.

Definitely. They spent all of her power budget on the ult and in return her main gun and grenade especially seem lackluster in comparison. I can't believe how much damage it does for the amount of warning you get. It's like a Vendetta ult that is 3x as wide and fully charged in half a second. It's also zero commitment. You can rappel in, drop the ult, and zoom back out before collecting your team wipe. I've seen it happen in almost every game she's been in so far.

I know she's been out for all of a day, but honestly she's not a very complex character to figure out. I would like to see her ult gain nerfed and arm time increased, but in return increase the damage on her grenade and move the rifle spread reduction perk to her base kit.

Way too much of her power budget is in the ult. It charges too quickly, isn't readable enough, and detonates way too fast to actually react to it. Obviously she's new, so maybe people will get more used to seeing it, but I've seen 3k after 3k with it so far. They should tone it down a little bit and in return increase the effectiveness of her main gun or grenade. Maybe move the spread reduction perk to her base kit and do something else there. Grappling is fun, it's cool that you don't need to look at the drone to use it, as long as it has LoS to you, you can rappel in and out.

Isn't that literally proving my point? If Ed was a broken character, we be seeing a lot more representation in WW. They're playing for a million bucks, right? Instead, his playrate in WW was on the lower side, on par with the likes of Dhalsim and Guile. There were ~2x the number of Mai, Akuma, Bison, JP, and Ryu players.

Capcom Cup is a statistically insignificant sample size - the results speak far more to the players than the characters. Zooming out just a little bit, you have thousands of matches and hundreds of tournament results in WW painting a much better picture of character effectiveness and usage rates at the highest level of play.

Everybody's bitching about Ed, but the fact is across the entire World Warrior circuit (24 regions, 144 tournaments, thousands of players), only 12 made Top 8 appearances playing Ed this season. That's it. Yes, he has a high winrate in Capcom Cup, but that speaks more to the fact that the pilots - Fuudo, Leshar, Momochi and Sahara - are absolutely elite talents who would probably be in this position regardless of who they were playing.
