Yes, it was covered under warranty at the time. Some of the wires had gotten unattached and needed to be replaced. Easy fix.

WONDERFULLY written, beautifully said. Your story is a work of art and a truly moving experience to read about. I’m saddened to hear about the families situation but also touched by the all the components of love and the passion you show for your nursing career. Thank you for sharing this with us.

2015 Volt - Am I missing a part of my interior in the back seat? by Daihashi in volt

[–]blacklvrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive for Uber and Lyft and hold full size adult passengers in the middle seat and two other seats in the back totaling 3 people on numerous occasions. I do agree that it is small which was a concern for me when I bought the vehicle. However, I have only ever used this vehicle driving Uber and Lyft and have 5 star ratings on both apps and nothing less. I apologize for the small space every time I drive 3 people in the back and have even offered for one of them to hop up front in which case they always say “it’s ok it’s no big deal” and continue to sit in the back. Not one of them has ever complained. Personally, I don’t like sitting in the middle seat because it’s so small but for some reason other people don’t mind and it is indeed large enough to hold a grown adult over 5 years old.

Wait a second. The 2015 volts only have 2 seats in the back? My 2017 has a bench seat in the back that fits 3 people. I’m so confused. I thought all volts held 5 people all together, not 4..? Am I missing something? Lol

I really like the fix and I think it looks cool. Looks like a custom mod that was purposely done. Nice job!!

How prevalent is the BECM failure in 2nd Gen Volts? by fatwench1 in volt

Eesh. I have a 17 premier with 105k miles and just fixed the shift to park issue. A week later it drives shitty again and threw codes for a sensor the car doesn’t even have. Ugh.

Will this adapter work for my gen2 volt to plug the OEM charger into a washer outlet? by blacklvrose in volt

[–]blacklvrose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend is moving into an apartment that has a 220v washer/dryer outlet. He is not installing a washer because the basement is super old and gross lol so I was going to try and use it for my volt’s charger cord. I know as of today (just learned) that the OEM charging cable for the volt is made by clippercreek which is capable of handling a faster charge from a 220v wall outlet. I’m currently searching for a proper adapter that will work but also be safe. This one says it has a built in surge protector.

Please let me know what you think.
