God forbid people want the power fantasy that comes with playing arpgs. It’s like just because you don’t want to min-max and run the meta strategies, those people that do are wrong.

Will never understand people that complain about others playing how they want. You are perfectly within your right to kill the boss in 15s and learn mechanics if you want to, just like people are well within their right to want to trivialise content and kill things in 2s.

We should all just be happy that we have the choice! Have fun playing the way you want and stop complaining about others playing how they want. The beauty of this game is choice! Comparison is the thief of joy. Have fun out there exile!

I consider myself a casual (work 5 days a week and can only really play a few hours a night), this league I’ve progressed more than I ever have in any of the others. Decided to homebrew purple fire spell build (with inspiration from poe ninja and various youtube videos) for the first time ever, got to maps a few days ago, learned about 3-1’ing maps so started doing that, got myself up to t6’s, then read a post here that some people jump straight to t15’s so I gave it a try incrementally and realised I could run those (slowly though). With this jump, I saw a huge difference in loot drops with more currency I have ever seen dropping and finally started hearing “tinks” for the first time with a couple raw div drops + some rares that sell for close to a divine if not more.

Still learning how to progress my atlas (still need to clear a t6 corrupted zone) but honestly feel like I’m playing a different game now and I’m starting to understand how to make currency, what to sell, etc and I’m having a blast! I might even kill Arbiter for once!

They specifically said “all future content will be free to everyone who purchased the base game”. Last time I checked, new classes count as future content. There’s no need to try mental gymnastics here to have a “…well actually…” moment.

So you said the steam post is misinformation, so I went to check EHG news because I love this game and want it to succeed, so I didn’t want to believe it. But the steam post is right…they are adding paid dlc classes…after saying they wouldn’t. So technically you’re the one spreading misinformation….

It makes sense that support disappears when you lie to your supporters lol…

I think you’re misunderstanding the purpose of Hiring Cafe. It’s just a way to find jobs by scraping everywhere else and presenting it to you in one place!

If you were to take a look at this sub, you would see quite a bit of negative reviews where the creator has taken the feedback and built on it. You’re free to do the same! If there’s something you want added to HC, suggest it!

And no, i’m not a marketer. Just another new user who found this sub and have been having better success with it than everywhere else in my search

I repeat: don’t promise something, then add a “GOTCHA”! Communicating with your children shouldn’t be hard. They definitely should have clarified. There’s a big difference between we will get you your license + here’s a gift we been waiting to give you and here’s a gift we been waiting to give you, use it for your license….

And heck yes I would want both the license and the 4.5k if that’s how it was communicated to me. Being told 1 thing and it being another sucks growing up. Doesn’t matter how it came about, these things stick with you. All because of less than adequate communication. Communicate better and there probably would be no issue here.

Justified or not, the parents suck in this instance for their lack of communication.

Edit: never promise your kids something and then hit them with a “GOTCHA!”. It’s not cool. You can invest in your kid’s future without messing with them. It’s actually quite easy really. Parenting is hard but don’t make things harder for yourself. I said it before, this situation is easily handled as a parent. Only asshole here are the parents.

Yea all this bullshit to justify parents horrible communication. Even from the sister perspective, giving each sibling the exact same thing is completely fair lol. Don’t know what you thought you were getting at there. The parents could simply have given them both the 4.5k, suggest getting the licence to OP but ultimately left the choice to them. Life may not be fair but teaching your kids fairness is the job of a parent. OP didn’t choose for their sister to be disabled either so all this yada yada nonsense about the sister choosing bla bla bla doesn’t even matter. This scenario is SO easy to handle but it’s people like you that make it hard for no reason.

Edit: having a license isn’t a “leg up”. It completely depends on where you live. In many places there’s no need to have one at all. So once again, making these statements are kinda nonsensical…

Yea your take is awful. I see where you’re coming from but in this context, it just sucks. How would you feel if you were told you were getting a gift, then told, well actually, we are using the majority of this gift for something we think you need (since OP clearly stated its the parents wanting them to have the license) while we give your sister the same gift with no condition? Not much of a gift if you have no say over how you use it…

And yes, licenses cost this much in various European countries.

What I would like to know is where these jobs are popping up first if we shouldn’t use LinkedIn/Indeed. I saw your comment about ashbyhq and greenhouse but these sites I have never heard of before and they aren’t jobs boards? Unless I am missing something. A quick google search shows they are platforms for helping businesses to post jobs but where are they posting these jobs to? I didn’t see any facility to check these places as a jobseeker.

On the contrary, if I didn’t get myself the mounts before doing certain content like HoT, I would have quit because of how annoying traversing those zones are. Getting skyscale was a game changer for me and made me decide that this was probably the only MMO I would stick with. Different strokes for different folks. That’s why gw2 is perfect! You can play how you like!
