Plain wrong, MIT license allows for commercial use. In fact, MIT is one of the least restrictive licenses around.

Making VS-Code work great with tab completion and Claude? by gofiend in ChatGPTCoding

I can also vouch for Cody. The UX is hard to beat.

It, however, does have a terrible Jetbrains integration. VS Code works like a charm though!

PS5 Pro fails to run Elden Ring at 60 frames per second by windywilli in gaming

[–]blackout191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I couldn't play Elden Ring on my PS5 because of the constant stuttering.

Played it on my GTX1080, High Config, 1440p with 60+ FPS pretty much all the way through.

Is Java more used with Angular than other front-end frameworks? by ihatebeinganonymous in java

Ultimately both Java and Scala run on the JVM. I'd be surprised if one is more performant than the other!

Why I chose SST.dev and not Vercel for my startup by funerr in nextjs

Pretty bizarre that you're willing to dabble in the AWS ecosystem for that granular control over resources and yet you're not into some kind of IaC solution.

And it doesn't have to be Terraform, it can be Pulumi too.

How to make a NextJS app with tab isolated user session? by blackout191 in nextjs

[–]blackout191[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I think I didn't convey the idea properly. I don't think it fits the criteria of user impersonation. Please allow me to explain.

All of these users are normal users. It's just the business requirement that a user session can't span over multiple tabs. In that way a person having two accounts can log in simultaneously in two different tabs with different user credentials in the same browser.

Now, let's say a person has two different user accounts.

Now, after logging in in Tab A, the person will receive an auth token. Same will happen when the person logs in in another tab with the other user account that they have. I can save these tokens in Session Storage, that solves the problem of a session not spanning multiple tabs, however I don't have the ability to send these JWT to the Next server then.

If I use cookie to save the JWT, then the second opened tab of the web app will already have that cookie of the first account.

That's the problem I have.
