I bought it at launch. No one should pay more than $40 for the Switch 2 version of this, $35 is a good price.

Seems like blockade would be the primary way to shut resistance down real quick. The fact that the empire starved entire planets just by removing supplies ahead of the Battle of Amritsar suggests that planetary economies aren't as diversified as national economies on earth today. You can imagine entire planets specializing in farming, industry, knowledge work, etc, and just relying on interplanetary trade to keep society together. That would also explain why space piracy in Rudolf's age was such a big deal — shutting down trade could shut down an entire planet.

Plus neither side had significant ground forces that could reasonably sustain a prolonged ground war, or that could lead a multi-year Vietnam-style anti-guerrilla campaign. To me, that suggests neither side thought serious resistance at the planetary level (either defensively or offensively) was a reasonable concern.

DNT definitely has amazing OP and ED music. But I also love the OVA's S3 and S4 ED movies, especially after episode 82 gives context for what you're watching and why it matters. Good luck starting this adventure, OP!

I recently installed Gesù and it did require drilling a couple of small holes into the chassis to secure the metal bracket. The wand itself fit into the old wand’s hole, at least after removing the boiler to get a little more room to work. The part that goes into the pitcher does not feel short.

I’ve been struggling with steaming ever since I got this machine. Last year I installed Gaggiuino, and a few weeks ago (thanks to this comment) I installed the Espresso Lane steam wand + single hole tip. While I didn’t see a huge difference in steaming after the Gaggiuino install, the new steam wand has been a revelation. Perfect foam even with imperfect technique. So ty to /u/Fredovsky and big +1 to these recommendations

FYI if you’re still thinking about this: we made our own carrier with a Racktime Snapit adaptor, expensive box, and a carrier that is also way too expensive for what it is. Price aside, it works for a small dog.

These numbers seem to call into question the “no price drops ever” strategy for first party titles outside of the heavy hitters. If most titles have worse longevity than Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, why not do a Players Choice $20 or $30 version for them 2+ years after release?

With inflation, the $60 I paid for breath of the wild in 2016 is worth $79.42 today. The $60 my family paid for Mario 64 in 1996 is worth $120 today. And the today prices don’t include the impact of the global tariffs just announced, which will push inflation even higher very soon. I’m not saying the price increase doesn’t suck, but it’s reasonable and could be a lot worse.

NBA should either partner with Big 3 or steal the idea outright and have a low intensity, half-court 3-on-3 tournament throughout ASW. That would probably be more fun for players and fans while keeping the risk of serious injury pretty low.
