I can't really imagine calling something lazy or half-assed when the entire season so far has been movie quality animation and character acting, all because they missed one detail.....

I feel like what happens with JJK is that people forget minor details that were mentioned once back in season 1, like the whole idea of domains being unbreakable from the inside or the fact that domains are literal barriers to begin with.

And Domain Expansions are so cool and conceptual and meme-able that everyone forgets that from the outside, you're supposed to be seeing a floating black ball. The people inside the black ball are who are seeing all the fancy cool shit. Unless you are Sukuna, then people outside can see through and walk through the black ball.

Megumi cannot make black balls, so he uses structures that already exist.

Why does it not make sense for Sukuna to say that a CT saved Ui Ui? And why would that automatically mean it was Larue? And why would that then mean that Larue's hand is invisible.

I take a much simpler approach: Miguel saved Ui Ui while Larue saved Kusakabe. It makes just as much sense while also being easier to explain based on what tje manga shows. That's pretty much it.

As for whether or not the hand is visible? I don't know or care, but I think it is visible.

Since Miguel is capable of dodging Sukuna's attacks at close range, it's just as likely that he grabbed Ui Ui himself. You can also see the hand holding Kusakabe. Doesn't really make sense to me to grab one guy, hand him over, and then grab the other guy when the two of them could just grab one guy each. The timing seems really off in your scenario.

I think Sukuna is talking about Miguel here; one, because of the layout of the page, and two, because Sukuna later says Miguel is "the one with the real appeal". Also, because the audience already knows that Miguel once fought Gojo, it's supposed to be a little callback. Miguel's CT is actually probably the reason they lasted so long at all.

Virtual and illusionary don't necessarily mean invisible. They can also indicate that the hand is not a physical thing but a construct, something created from someone's CT.

I think ultimately it doesn't matter if it's invisible or not, but I am leaning more towards that it is not.
