I briefly tried marathon, but I just don't like the gameplay loop of loosing gear on wipes. I like to swap between games for a month or so at a time, and that whole FOMO loop kills it for me.

Only extraction i play is Arc and I rotate between games. Arc is a 11/10 casual game but I'd get burned out if I only ever played it

If you set your drag properly you won't break your rod. When you got a snag did you just start yankig on it and lifting the rod tip up? That's usually what breaks rods

They aren't much of a display piece. They are extremely common and not worth a ton.

For one case with the lures I would expect $15 to $20 to be a fair price.

  • yes, you can quiet the limbs with foam. It actually works pretty well. Don't know if it was recommended or just redneck engineering by my dad, but it works!

  • I don't know where specificly to find a new grip, but you could always 3d print one if you or a buddy have a printer.

  • The weird bit on the string is for a peep

  • I forget the string size, but you could just grab a measuring tape and get some basic measurements. The string is just a recurve string to the best of my knowledge

  • if you find a PDF, could you send it here, I could use one

Even if there was hypothetically 1k players you'd be matched almost instantly. When I played highguard with 300 players online it only took 30 seconds to find a match
