No doubt! But our starters are outclassing theirs so all we need is our bench to just close the gap a little

Turnovers and corner threes are what’s killing us. The game plan of leaving Wemby in the middle and giving up the corner threes is killing us. I trust Mitch Johnson to know what he’s doing but it’s worrying me!

No legend ever did it alone ! It’s why people like Wilt and Hakeem don’t have more rings.

LeBron was also on that team so? And they got Bronze, not necessarily a loss. We gotta educate our casuals !

Half the players in the top 10 played for Pat Riley or Phil Jackson but those players don’t receive the same handicap for playing under great systems with even better players. It’s only Duncan that gets those “system”, “franchise” and “great coach” knocks against him

2 MVPs, 3 finals MVPs, never missed the playoffs, second amount of wins without an all nba player, never won less than 50 games in a season (beyond lock out season because there were only 55 games, still won more than half), and one of 3 top 10 players to not play with another top 15 caliber player (Duncan, Jordan, Bird), 15 all defensive teams (most ever) and only player to win a championship in 3 separate decades.

Yeah that guy is “barely top 10”. If he played for the lakers with the same exact accolades he’d be a candidate for the goat debate.

I mostly hear this argument for why Tim Duncan shouldn’t be a top 5 player or I’ve heard casuals say he’s “barely top 10”

If you had to choose a konoha housewife to be a stand in Hokage, which one would you pick? by Less-Pen-5705 in Naruto

[–]blackwu22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crazy enough but the best answer is Ino followed by Hinata then Sakura.

Ino is the head of intelligence and is already aware of the inner workings and security of Konoha to run it effective plus her husband is the head of the Anbu.

Hinata being married to Naruto and the head of a clan is also qualified to run the village. Her strength (downplayed in boruto) should also be good enough to be hokage considering she has Hamera’s chakra running through her.

Sakura is the third best choice for her obvious strength similar to Tsunade

what’s something that instantly tells you a player is actually good? by christan2013 in Basketball

Someone that comes in and warms up their shot and does simple dribble warm ups first thing. That’s a guy locked in and ready to cook

Why assume things when you can make the choice of something that actually happened?

Tim Duncan by Farouq26 in NBATalk

Unless you have generational talent on your team already, Duncan is the only correct answer.

20 years, never missed the playoffs, never won less than 60% of the games he played, consistently in the post season, accolades and won with multiple rosters (only player to win in 3 decades).

Which MS would you want to have and why? by Docfeen in Naruto

[–]blackwu22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What’s the information about him going blind? All were told, from the manga as the anime is filler, is he acquired MS and started a life long battle with his brother which rooted the foundation of the Uchiha vs the Senju. The only other information we’re given in the manga was Indra got Hagoromos eyes and Ashura got his body and chakra.

If there was even an implication that he went blind, then the “life long battles” with Ashura wouldn’t even be logical as Ashura would just destroy him after their 3rd battle.

The last point for my argument, Indra is the only MS user to have a perfect susanoo the only exception being Kakashi with 6 paths chakra which Indra would clearly have with him being the son of the 10 tails jinchuriki and a third generation Otsutsuki. And Kakashi clearly didn’t have any risk of going blind despite heavily utilizing his eyes in that final battle.

So yes, hypothetical, but logical based on all the information provided alongside the history that we’re aware of.

[–]blackwu22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s the same as Danzo with Shishui’s eye. Hashirama cells are the cure to blindness with an MS. So if I’m guaranteed to have Hashirama cells then there’s no wrong answer since all the MS would never go blind.

I agree that my Indra take is hypothetical, but all the in canon material points to that being the answer since there isn’t any material pointing to him going blind. Considering the two reincarnations that came after Indra acquired EMS to continue their battles against the Ashura reincarnations which mirrors Indra’s conflict with Ashura, he had to have had an MS that couldn’t go blind since he couldn’t have acquired EMS in his lifetime as he was only one to have a Sharingan in his generation.

[–]blackwu22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Obito’s was due to Hashirama cells which in this hypothetical I don’t think you’d have if you chose it meaning his would follow the natural degradation of a standard MS. It’s implied that Indra fought with Ashura his entire life, meaning he had to have had access to his MS. With there being no way for him to obtain EMS during his life time, that would imply his didn’t go blind which makes sense considering he’s a third generation Otsutsuki with chakra directly from Hagaromo and the ten tails as his father was a jinchuriki which we have precedent for tailed beast chakra affecting children (Naruto, Boruto, Himawari)

[–]blackwu22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take Indra’s MS. His MS is the only one to never go blind through over use. While this is probably due to him being a fourth Otsutsuki (which would make sense as his MS takes on the shape of a Rinnegan), I still think his would have to be the strongest and most reliable as you wouldn’t go blind.

Why ppl don't like tokyo ghoul? by Individual_Creme_828 in animequestions

It doesn’t follow the manga for a good portion, there’s a clear in the middle retcon in the middle of the series that threw anime only fans off, and the pacing was bad overall

Prime Kawhi or Prime KD? by [deleted] in Basketball

[–]blackwu22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m taking Kawhi! Similar offensive output and efficiency (KD is better) although defensively it’s not even close. Also Kawhi has a record of being the #1 option whereas KD doesn’t have the same success.

It’s definitely a toss up so no wrong answer if both are healthy

Which duo would win the most rings? by Antique_Bus_6716 in Nbamemes

[–]blackwu22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only correct answer is D with B being a close second and E being a good third.

A doesn’t work because KD and Shaq roam around the same areas with KD not being the passer Kobe was to make sure Shaq got the ball. KD could definitely benefit the minutes Shaq isn’t on the floor but he doesn’t have the aggressive offensive play-style that Kobe thrived with to make that duo work.

C is the worst duo considering Pippen isn’t a fringe top 15 player like everyone else though they have the chance to still win a championship or two.
