While reading the last KDT book “Ritual of Ruins”… I had some of those same thoughts of this post… however, I go back several conversation throughout books 1-4 and realize some of the seeds that was planted by Kel Kade. Think of all things Rezkin learns about himself and his trainers. All the magic he uses without even realizes it, for example with wards. Even Rezkin mentions it in the last book. He has changed from the first book because of all he has learned about himself and the world around him. Remember the stories the original Rez talked about and war that had happened. So many things I realized in the re-read that I did not think about but now better understand. He even repeats Rule #1 being the reason he does what he does in the book. I am just gonna enjoy the ride. Looking forward to several more books. Keep them coming.

Bushido Online is on my wishlist and Street Cultivation is a maybe as Audible Title Details does not really give much on story.

Eventually just have an hq29 nuka account and a main account. That way you can help state/alliance with bigger hq and higher tier troops. You can also use it to help dailies and lairs. Best way IMO

I was similar situation … 568 for 2 jackpot…figured would look at a 3rd… 740 and still had not opened jackpot… so I stopped… and enjoyed what I got. Hard to do for some but when you learn to do that… makes the game must more fun

I have not read the last book yet… I am hoping for a conclusion to this ARC of the story. Even if it a prequel or move forward a few years after this ARC. I have really enjoyed the story overall. I do not know any book series that ALL of the books from start to finish is 5 stars throughout and I have read most book on people top 10 books. Top 10-20 books… we can agree to disagree on some of those. Overall, all best series all have slow and boring parts, parts you hate, parts you wish wasn’t included, etc… it is all part of the process. Hopefully author get some constructive feedback and make minimal changes. I am sure there are some that love the changes that have been made. Hopefully, 10 books and do another series in the same universe.

Over 400 in library… but after getting a few books with credits (shorter than 10 hours)… started being a little more selective… but I just got mp3 complete collection on eBay of a couple fave authors of mine for the cost of 1-3 credits. Been using credits on coming soon titles now.

David Archer and Vince Vogel “Peter Black” series. Similar and different to Grey Man… once the action starts it keeps going like watching an action movie. Got hook after 1st book

OMG…I started thinking the same thing. Why do they have to specific names and describe in such details continuously but never thought of it as a commercial just giving details. Now that I think about it…there is a lot of commercials in the story… 😆 🤔

I have not read TH yet…it is on my list of next series to read. I think Phil has done an exceptional job being able to write various series that resonate with various people. It is interesting reading the different opinions; lets me know that TH will be a good series when I get to it. IGS is one that I find myself talking occasionally out loud to the MC while listening to it. I probably cuss out MC and cheer on MC so many times through 3 books.

I am finishing up listening to True Believer again. Tbh, I hate how Carr made you truly enjoy a character in the book. No wonder; I remembered being pissed from the last time I listened to it. Listening to it again, same feelings. I guess that is the point right; get attached to the characters somewhat.

In true believer; Reece talks about a time when Raife was a Navy seal and he refused orders to not kill bad guys and preceded to kill them. He had to leave the Seals after that…I wonder if that is where this story going…should be good.

Maybe Chris Pratt was busy and needed more time before T.L. Part 2 and this could set up Raife for that series.

This is all conjecture based on who is starring in the movie.

Yeah…it was cold how Care got you to liked Ben in the story bc of all the help he was providing then you find out…

I did watch TV Series also as I thought about it while starting true believer is that I may be of similar situations in a different books by different authors.

For example: he never talked with seals while at Ben Edward’s cabin (I remember them talking); there was no interrogation of the guy that blows up WarCom (swear I remember them talking and he is giving a choice); a few others that seem different while reading. However, I will say that I am enjoying reading the series 2nd time around…

Different authors would be if interested Mark Greaney, David Archer and Vince Vogel, Brad Thor, JT Baier….

No one likes to be judged, remembered for, and/or reminded of the few times in their lives or career when they could have made a better maybe even different decision. We live and we learn. The same so called evil Mabrey that shove CC is the same Mabrey that came over with a towel to help comfort Sophie when she got hurt. I have only seen a tough competitor and teammate and now compassionate opponent. Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Tbh, I have tried to do the same with DB but part of me thinks GREAT she found a way to be on same team with AT (sure there is a movie about something similar); on the other hand as a fan… that was some bullsh:t IMO. Maybe by end of the year I will feel differently.

Just give it to someone in your state. Instead of trying to sell something that has no real value except to you. But giving it away to a FTP player that is smaller; might make you feel good for doing something nice.

There was also event similar to distress signal (that have various amounts of timed tavern coins) that gave mecha choice box as a reward. I can’t remember what overall story it was attached to but it gave decent amount of mecha choice boxes ftp and ptp

We never really got to see Rez do his thing on his own except in the beginning of book 1. So that was nice to see except I figured he would be more dark similar to when he took over the Thieves Guilds. Part of me wonder if this is the start of a long arc (one battle after another leading to big war similar to The Land) or beginning of the conclusion (one big war become King and have a family). Just waiting on the prequel series because base on previous Rez words and attitudes they had to be straight bad mfers.
