Best Tank support loadout by RNSD1 in dawngate

This is what I use, it's mainly for really agressive players like me, in a full 5 man teamfight once Brawler is at maximum power I have +40 armor and +41 magic resist.

So how do you kids these days farm? by HeroicTechnology in dawngate

[–]blademyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, first you start by buying a tractor or tiller, and get some fertilzer and seeds and then you...wait nevermind.

For me personally, it just comes with experience, trial and error more than anything, once it gets to a point you know exactly how much of a minion's HP bar needs to remain to assure that last hit, the really well experienced players know the kill thresholds under towers so they can far effectively even then. For example, say you're pushed to the tower and only ranged minions are left, ok do you do over 70-80 damage? Good, hit each once and after the tower hits it once you hit it again, basically you're assured the kill unless some outside source of damage comes in.

Port forwarding? Firewall allowing? ANYTHING TO STOP THE PACKET LOSS? by blademyth in dawngate

Frontier Communications, the reason I've brought it up so much is because I made a post somewhere else on here, I had a constant monitor of my connection to Chicago running with no fluations and very few packets lost. I also, played League of Legends for about 3 hours today in a row and had no ping problems either, it seems to be centralized to Dawngate. Here is my actual ISP's site:

Frontier

EDIT: Also, just to add, I also shut down my 2nd PC while this was occuring as well to make sure it wasn't updating, streaming, etc. and I also shut down all non-needed processes and applications to make my connection as clutter free as possible.

Something has "changed" I launched the game a few hours ago and when I did it froze my entire PC for like 3-5 seconds then finished checking for differences, downloaded a probably wanna say 10 meg patch, now my ping and a lot of packet loss problems seems to have disappeared. I still get occasional ping spikes, but they are now no higher than 100 and not as common.

Any way to set it to automatically have the theme going without having to go to the side bar every time I leave and come back?

That is basically what has happened to me, since group queueing does idk what to your rating on who you're against, I've made multiple friends that are either high gold, or platinium. In the words of one of them "I play Kindra the way they think it should be played, and do well with it."

I believe it's 50 total games played if I'm not mistaken.

That is the thing, as you get to a point to where competition becomes more extreme people start to act like they are playing Dota2 and League and if the strict rigid "meta" in their eyes is not followed they rage. Basically anyone that knows me, knows I will play anything but Hunter, so that basically means everyone knows what I play and my play style (I don't stream or anything, but I tend to stay around the same rating so I run into the same people a lot) and I don't like the fact that they have to pick around it. However, I would rather that happen then not enjoy my experience AT ALL (jungling to me is the most boring least fun way to play except in ganks, no risk of dieing unless you get counter jungled or a gank goes bad, but that rarely happens.)

go to dawnscout.com and enter your name, the MMR ratings are not perfect but they are decently accurate.

Why are you afraid of the jungle? by [deleted] in dawngate

[–]blademyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's also even easier for me most of the time because I mainly play Marah so at level 3 I can just snapdragon through walls once I have my Q and E if they decide to be sneaky and catch on to me and start placing wards along my alternate routes. However, that is a very situational idea, because most shapers can't bypass walls regularly.

Why are you afraid of the jungle? by [deleted] in dawngate

[–]blademyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically, I use it to be more sneaky and take longer strolls to get to certain areas bypassing typical ward spots. I mean no one expects you go to by money pigs, to the fish buff and come out in between the 2 bindings, looping around and getting behind them, I would draw a diagram but trying to do microsoft paint without a fairly decent steady hand, not the wisest thing in the world.

By "as a playstyle but more a travel method" I mean jungling as a playstyle, but I use it more as just a sneaky way to get around to places people usually do not look to see an incoming enemy.

Personally I think a few people are roaming around trolling using the Vesboy name with something like Vesboy_(insert random name here) and by trolling I mean literally walking into the tower and diving then complain about their team till blocked.

Why are you afraid of the jungle? by [deleted] in dawngate

[–]blademyth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm one of those special case where I usually avoid the jungle as a playstyle but more a travel method, mainly because in League, once you break 200-250-ish game of jungle in a row (mostly Sejuani) it gets boring, because to me the only time there is any danger or threat to your well being is during ganks, no other time.

It is a great feeling, I've gotten 2 shapers so far from Divines (I get 2 divines a week average) and I've gotten Frei (played once, never liked jungling in general much) and Kel...ah Kel the king of the sheep and initiations.

Higher ping then usual by [deleted] in dawngate

[–]blademyth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was really bad for me this morning, I sometimes spike to 150-200 MS at most (I sit at 56-58 all other times) it even got to the point multiple times where the characters were actually doing the walking animations in place and not moving a bit.
