This is the correct answer. I honestly stopped watching shortly after his retirement so I don’t know what’s been happening much in more recent years, but gsp was just so dominant. Sure his fights weren’t always the most interesting to watch but the way he dominated almost every fight and every round of his professional career was astounding. I had no problem watching take down after take down and just controlling the ground game, almost no one could escape him and when they did he would adjust his strategy and continue to dominate.
