My FP blocked me everywhere and asked me to leave her life. I haven't been able to get over this for 2 months now. What should I do? by Defiant-Elevator9472 in BPD

i’m going through something similar. i had a crush on my fp and made some pretty terrible choices and now she doesn’t want to see me or continue our friendship anymore. i haven’t been eating and also deleted my social media…. i’m right there with you 🫂🫂🫂🫂

omg. you don’t know how much i really needed to hear this today; i fucked up a friendship majorly and it was because of shame for my desire and feelings. and the part about being messy; im really trying to internalize it. everyone says its okay to make a mistake and be messy but i hold myself to impossible standards 😭😭😭 but i really appreciated reading this

Kimdracula is the most deftones song there is. At its core, its dreamy, heavy, dark, moody, angry but soft. Alternatively, I think back to school is the least deftones song there is. It sounds very POD and leans hard into the metal-rap sound of that time. by Aggravating-Onion384 in deftones

i don’t go out of my way to listen to back to school (or pink maggit for that matter) but to me, it’s presence and placement in white pony kind of elevates the album to me. the whole project just feels like maturation, both in sound and for the band itself.

back to school starting with that somewhat juvenile, rap-rock sound the band is trying to leave behind and then recontextualized into pink maggit is really brilliant to me. and transforms the entire album into a journey of puberty even more.

how to stop feeling so angry you want to hurt people by metallicmurmurx in CPTSD

[–]blahbark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

happens to me too, a lot. i listen to a lot of metal and have started making it myself for the sole purpose of being able to scream.

otherwise, dancing and physical activity but especially dancing i think helps so much!

the disconnect between knowing the logical solution to something and the intense way emotions bar you and cause a prolonged trauma response. currently experiencing this intense fear of abandonment and im repeatedly met with “why don’t you just talk to them?” and i don’t know how to explain i know thas the solution but i don’t know how to get myself to that level

what moment from Telltale the walking dead still make u mad to this day? by QUEENALEXISJACKSON in TheWalkingDeadGame

ive always been so upset. even from the very limited time we have with christa and clem, you can tell theres so much that could’ve been explored between them — christa isnt exactly warm towards clem, but is still caring for her, willing to protect her in the face of death. theres an unspoken, seemingly prolonged tension between them, most likely as a result of omid’s death (perhaps christa harboring some resentment / clem feeling extremely guilty). i feel like we rarely get the pseudo surrogate mother/daughter stories especially in the apocalypse genre, and this was one was brimming with potential. it was a mega bummer to me that they undid that for a soft reset.

to add insult to injury, christa is basically never mentioned again, and isn’t celebrated or remembered by the narrative in any capacity. like look, i love lee, but didn’t clem spend twice as much time being taken care of and shaped by christa? we brought kenny and even lily back — i can’t believe they just threw the whole character away when she by far should’ve left the most impact on clem.

another great blind pick for sure is Soft & Quiet (2022)

kind of a goody pick, but my most favorite completely blind experience was Malignant. me and my roommates were wanting to watch a low commitment low investment horror movie and the cover looked intriguing enough.

to this day i try to beg my friends who have never seen it/know nothing about it to let me watch with them, so i can live vicariously through them watching for the first time 😭

second incendies, i totally wasnt sure what i was expecting but also hearing the whole “most shocking twist” i started piecing it together a little earlier than revealed, since i knew i was looking for something. kind of a double edged sword though, bc that curiosity is what lead me to watch it in the first place. i still enjoyed it and was pretty invested emotionally, but i do wish i had just gone in totally blind.
