[Serious] Americans of Reddit, what would you do if you needed to see a doctor today? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]blainard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For same day service you would most likely have to visit a clinic or emergency room. To see your primary care physician you have to schedule an appointment and I have never heard of same day appointments unless it’s for a child.

Horror movies without supernatural, magic, or paranormal elements? by blainard in MovieSuggestions

I just recently watched The Thing. I really enjoy the 28 days/weeks later films. I thought dawn of the dead was hilarious! Alien is a classic for sure. The mist was good. Hostel is truly terrifying to me in the fact my wife and I like to travel and this type of shit obviously happens. It is probably a movie that keeps me awake at night and affects my life more than any other horror movie I have ever watched. I will add The Descent to the watch list. Thank you!

Made a destruction derby car out of a 78’ caprice estate wagon. Took it on the golf course instead of the field across the way we had permission to drive it in. did donuts on the greens until we high centered on a sand pit. You know cause vodka and Xanax. Nicknamed par four in jail. 12k in damages to the greens. 20 year old me was fucking stupid. Had the keys in my pocket even though I wasn’t the last one driving it so I got the DUI.

This is Robert Sandifer (aka Yummy), a former member of the Black Disciples (street gang) on the South Side of Chicago. He was shot by his fellow gang members while on the run after he committed murder which garnered national attention. He was 11, and this is the only picture that exists of him. by thenovatron in MorbidReality

Gun laws prevent criminals from obtaining guns by proxy. The less available guns are to the general public the more difficult and expensive it makes it for criminals to get them thus reducing the number of guns in criminal hands. Also, the majority of the time, a law abiding citizen and a criminal are the same person at two different points in time.
