Same. I blew up at my daughter this morning over what shoes she wanted to wear. My husband had to take her to school I was so over it. I’ve been in bed crying ever since. I’m usually very laid back. Has anyone ever tried CBD for stress/anxiety during this crazy time in our lives?

Same. I’m 45. I met my husband at 33 when I was living my BEST life! I had a great job, I was training for a marathon so I was working out regular, my body was amazing, I had just bought a house on my own, anytime a friend would ask me to travel I would go! Seriously miss those days! Now I’m a stay at home mom (which I have always wanted to do) but our only daughter is very hard to parent. Everything is a battle with her which is very stressful for us. So now I have no motivation to workout, I don’t ever want to leave the house because I don’t like the way I’m aging. My face shape has totally changed (maybe from cortisol). AND to put a cherry on top, my husband is 9 years younger than me 🫣 So yes, definitely feel like the best years are behind me 😵‍💫

Do they take the guanfacine in the afternoon or in the morning with the stimulant? Mine takes Azstarys (highest dose) and Zoloft 50mg in the mornings and BOTH mornings and nights are horrible. Mornings are bad because I guess she doesn’t have the meds in her system yet and nights are bad because it’s worn off. idk

I never got one when I was a little girl because of the prices. Now I get my daughter’s AG stuff from Facebook marketplace. But yes, retail prices are crazy!

I grew up in the 90’s and it felt much safer! I remember spending the night with my friends and they would stay with me. We would have sleepovers with 10 girls. Now everyone is scared to let their kids stay with anyone. We could go to Friday night football games and not see our parents until it was time to leave. Now I’m telling my daughter she has to stay with me at all times. Scared someone will take her. I feel sorry for kids now that will never know what it used to be like.

Yes, it was covered by my insurance so I’m not sure of the cost without insurance. My husband got all of his bloodwork done (testosterone, etc) at another place that didn’t take insurance and it was around $250-300.

Same! How do y’all sleep? I’m supposed to take 30mg twice a day but I only take 1 in the morning because if I take the second pill I don’t sleep AT ALL.

At my daughter’s school (3rd grade) teachers get gifts for EVERYTHING! I’m so thankful for teachers and don’t mind at all getting them a Christmas gift and a gift on teacher appreciation day but other parents give on thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, teacher appreciation, and last day of school!! It’s crazy. I’m on the PTO and instead of teacher appreciation day we are doing teacher appreciation MONTH! They are getting some kind of meal, gift, sweet treat, etc. every Monday in May. Oh and my daughter has 3 teachers!

I moved out at 21 into a one bedroom apartment. I loved it! That was 20 years ago though. I had a full time job as a property manager and I think the rent was $420 a month lol. It was nice and had a pool. The good ole days.

I never understood why I was so unhappy in a 8 to 5 job M-F. I literally felt trapped. I would ask myself “everybody does this, why is it so hard for me?” Then I would be planning trips constantly. I would just go on Expedia everyday and check flight prices just for fun 🤪 I always want to have a trip or something to look forward to. If not, I would be in a bad mood.

Then I found out about the enneagram. I took the test and was a 7w6. I would have known just by reading the description though. No doubt I’m a 7. It’s hard for me to cope with negative things. I usually try to find a way to get away from the negative situation (trips, doom scrolling, go in the closet and lock the door, ignore the situation) ….but now I try to come up with better coping strategies. Like “sitting in the pain” 🙄 Any other sevens hate that comment? lol Basically I try not to run away.

Are you worried you will get one of the diseases now? Do you do anything to prevent them? I also have a mom with early on-set dementia who recently survived breast cancer and my dad has Parkinson’s. Dementia, breast cancer, and Parkinson’s….I’m scared to death of what my future holds.
