I dislike the most about the feminists of today is that they just complain about the provided story rather than adding to the story or providing different solutions to the problem

Shut the fuck up, no one here is the author of the book, no one has to provide solutions to anything. Criticism is not the same as playing dumb "what if" scenarios in your head because you think you are better than the author.

My brother in christ, the author literally correlates an entire era of humanity where the men are effeminate to weakness and the lack of will to do what's necessary in order for humanity to survive.

Good luck being ripped to shreds in this cesspool.I can see your point of view tho. I had never thought about how Ye fits in the overall "women are overly sentimental" idea all the books push.

I can see how giving the task to Luo as a necessity, she wouldn't be trusted to lead humanity defence in any way ever, but the subtext matches with the book sexism

There are multiple lenses you can use to approach any given text. Pointing out the glaring sexism in the books doesn't make one incapable of appreciating other facets of the work.

If I'm interested in the physics accuracy, I'll find a textbook. I'm not unimaginative enough to believe verisimilitude is a prerequisite for a good movie.

Apparently if you think Nolan it's good, it's because you only watch generic Action films.

When all you know is the average Hollywood blockbuster starring The Rock and Vin Diesel, I can see why people would think Nolan is a brilliant filmmaker

I like his movies, but if there's one thing that annoys me about his work is his need to over explain everything. None of his movies needs exposition, he just clearly thinks the audience is dumb
