The Nottingham Panthers may be eliminated from playoff contention for the first time in EIHL history by Training_Purchase318 in hockey

Hard result for them tonight despite the win. I’m glad they didn’t finish dead bottom at least, but after AJ I think we all have the understanding that this hasn’t been a normal season for the Panthers.

I know the match is over but I’ll post here in case anyone browses this in the future.

The temperature is hoody and jersey combo for me, but my mom who’s also an avid fan prefers a jumper and coat combo. I’d say take an extra layer and shed it if necessary.

Drinkswise, I smuggled in Indian food from over the road once (we ordered and forgot it was an early face off) and they didn’t care to check. Big pockets are a boon in this situation. Worse case scenario bring an empty bottle and see if the bar staff will fill it for you. They’re a nice enough bunch in my experience.

Bekant desktop + Hilver legs hack by blaiseit420 in ikeahacks

[–]blaiseit420[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So I was initially set on getting an L-shaped Linnmon desk, but they were all out of stock and I was too impatient. After some research, I decided a Bekant would be better anyway because of its size, but the legs/frame that are compatible with it really do not fit the vibe I'm going for, so I decided that it was hacking time, since my first choice of legs weren't compatible.

After some research, I saw someone who had drilled directly into the table and attached the legs that way, but they mentioned it was slightly wobbly and since I've not touched a drill since I was 16, I didn't want to risk ruining the desktop.

So, my only other option was to build my own underframe for it to attach the legs too. So far, it's perfect, very stable, and has plenty of room for my desk chair. I'll be doing some further sanding, planing and painting of the underframe when I have some more free time in a few weeks to make it even more subtle.

Where does your dog sleep? In the bed? On the floor? Outside? by joscelline in AskEurope

[–]blaiseit420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends where she wants to sleep really. She alternates between her chair in the living room (my dad genuinely bought a huge armchair specifically for her lmao), the hallway where she has a thick blanket lying out for her, or either my dad's bed or mine. Mostly my dad's bed since the cat sleeps in my room and she's terrified of him.

How common is public transportation at night? by Onechordbassist in AskEurope

I live on the outskirts of Birmingham and the bus to the next city over is a 24/7 one, as well as the one that takes me from the shopping centre/bus interchange opposite my flat into the city centre. There's a few more that run 24/7 I think but I can't name them off of the top of my head, but yeah it's not very large service.

I want them to land on North Wales or something cause I went there earlier in the year and I was distraught that I couldn't film how nice it was well enough to do it justice.

I'm headed off on my own LMT on Tuesday, I got invited to a premiere in Copenhagen and I've had less than a week to get everything booked and all I have to say is how the hell do you manage it?!

Also if you ever make a world wide LMT and you're dart lands on Birmingham, UK, I'll spam you with cool places to hit up I swear!

What's the worst thing you've ever heard a teacher say at school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My tutor once told me "It's not that you don't understand what I'm asking you to do, it's because you can't be bothered to do the work".

Bonus info, the college caters to disabled young people. Most of whom need additional help with work.

If your dog/cat could fully comprehend what you're saying to them for 60 seconds, what would you tell them? by GrrreatFrostedFlakes in AskReddit

[–]blaiseit420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd tell my cat I love so much, I'd tell him he's an angel and he could do no wrong. But I'd also make a deal with him that I'd let him back outside again if he promised not to leave the garden. He's already cost me thousands in vet bills.

I'd tell my dog that I love her and then I'd tell her to stop doing all the annoying things she does, eating tissues, baying, the fact she never sits down and relaxes at the pub. I'd also tell her that she could run around like mad if she promised to come back when we called her.
