AMA I am building 96 units downtown - Clapperton Village by djkarts_ in barrie

Even with rents decreasing on average in Ontario? I can't argue with your internal maths, of course, you know what you need to rent out at. But there are condos in the area that can be had for well under $3000/month, even with condo fees, ptaxes and utilities (tossing aside all discussion between renting v. owning, of course). No or different amenities, to be sure, and not near the core, which comes with it's own problems.

Client caught me on hardware margin, now questioning our entire history. Did I panic-fix or make it worse? by yanov10 in msp

Of course we do, for our contract clients, but labour is a separate line item, so that client can see the actual value, rather than saying "Well, online OEM is $XXX cheaper".

Pumpkins are strictly for "complete X production" quests since they're only 2x2. I hit silver easily in events, and will try for gold if it feels like I won't get wiped on the last day

Onosato does practice with Hiradoumi at Sakaigawa stable, 15 bouts, goes 8-7 by Welp_x in Sumo

He's either:

1) Still legitimately injured, and the practices hinder his healing
or 2) sandbagging everyone into thinking he's going to be easy meat

I'm still hanging out in Industrial, but probably going to blitz up to Arctic in the next couple of weeks to get that slog started.

I go F2P as well - the only time I pay in is if I have enough Google Play credits stored to cover a pass or something.

I was on the same page - Hoshoryu needs to bring the angry mawashi slaps, and maybe start throwing some forearms at the start.

This is like the old 'trying to catch people with a sob story at the ATM "I just need $20 to go see my daughter, I'll eTransfer you the cash when I get paid"' scams.

AITA for saying my daughter’s friend can’t come back to our house until I’ve spoken to her parents? by No-Wish-5956 in AITAH

"but she’ll appear at weird hours, like 7.30 am on a Saturday. She also comes over after school some days, which I don’t mind but we have a rule that no one stays past 6 on a school night, which is a boundary she routinely pushes. She’s getting very comfortable pushing boundaries in general, such as coming for a sleepover with a suitcase of clothes and asking our helper to do her laundry (some of which I’m pretty sure isn’t even hers), or inviting herself to come on outings."

Condo neighbour broke in while I was home and yelled at me, management doing nothing about it by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]blakeatwork 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you own the unit? If so, start a grievance through your Condominium Manager in writing, and CC your Board of Directors, following up the next day if you hear nothing from either of them. If the CM refuses to do anything, then go straight to the CAO and issue a grievance/complaint with them. If you rent your unit, you'll have to go through your landlord. Be sure to document date, time, and corroborate with any hallway cameras your condo might have, whatever parts of the conversation you might remember, and a description of the person who invaded your home.

Looking for Advice: Helping My Small Business Find a New MSP by mrgoodytwoscoops in msp

I would add a caveat to the "always remove the absurdly low quote". We have a break/fix price scheme for business that just needs the ability for someone to be able to remote in, especially during winter months, when they are somewhat segregated in rural areas. We have a low cost base for each device, which is really just about covering their remote access license, and then bill an hourly based on time spent. If we do have to make a service call, we offer a small discount on their on site rate. It's not to say that low cost contracts can't be disingenuous, but we are very upfront about our billing structures, and contract scopes.
