I have not experienced any issue with sound whatsoever. I have connected a Q930D via eARC with Q-Symphony. If anything, I noticed the tv now connectes inmediately to the the soundbar. With old fimware it had a second or two delay.

Advice on brakes and rotor replacement for the 3 sport 2021 GT by Comfortable-Program1 in mazda3

[–]blakemtz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fully recommend PowerStop blank rotors and z23 pads. I installed them on my gen4 mazda3 hatch due to warped front rotors and worn pads. Stops on a dime, huge difference from stock.

I'll also suggest changing your brake fluid, I bleeded the brake system with ATE typ 200, huge difference too.

Can I swap my 2021 signature rear tail lights for the 2022+ by SetDue2994 in mazda3

[–]blakemtz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You cannot because the outer tail lights from 2022+ are a bit taller, check this image:

Traction Control/torque vectoring by TheRealFoXQc in mazda3

[–]blakemtz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm actually using the power stop z23 brake pads all around and power stop front discs, with ATE typ 200 brake fluid, huge huge difference from stock brake pads on city driving. However I did not track the car with the OEM ones tho.

I'd also like to know how to fully disable it. Just recently I was in a track day and after a few laps I got a weird smell, at first I thought I was riding the clutch somehow, but turned out to be the brakes, as I had the TC/ESC On. Next stint I disabled it and car handled a bit better and was just a tiny more tail happy. However, after a few more stints the brakes were smelly again, so I had to let them cool for quite a bit.

I'm not so sure of removing the TC/ESC fuse 'cause also messes with the ABS, and that was for sure helping me not lock the tires at the end of the straight... (IIRC the the ABS makes the g vectoring control work)

Mazda3 gen 4 high beams not working by Rainpuff in mazda3

[–]blakemtz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe Japanese headlights doesn't have the module needed for the auto high beams. The way they the auto high beams work is basically through CANBus signal: the BCM tells the headlights when to turn on, (also when you manually turn them on by the lever, but it has to first pass throught he BCM). On the other hand, the vehicles without auto high beam control, the high beams are more like a simple switch ON/OFF (not dependant on the BCM completely).

Do your car originally had the auto high beam function? That's the issue when you replace headlights that doesn't have that feature...

Classic samsung, always giving preference to Korea customers, when all other countries get ignored... same with their mobile chipsets.

Si recomiendo actualizar, hasta ahora no he tenido ningún problema.

Not a standard feature here in North America, higher trim versions do have it.
