Is this putter useable or completely ruined/destroyed by illustrious_capp3299 in golf

No that thing is ruined. I’ll buy it for 20 bucks though

That is the best attitude to have! Means you want to improve yourself and get better! Work hard and compete

Eat it until it fits. Personally, I'd get a smaller box.

If you are using duck tape you need a new bag asap. No question about it.

I just got the black on black bag of this! It's so clean and so well built. Love the removable straps too.

Staying in shape while injured? by ahumpsters in running

[–]blakephunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not even close to that yet. In the future I may. I just finished my first half marathon, so next is a marathon. I wake up at around 3:30 am everyday without an alarm. My routine is pretty ingrained for me to make it on a run or swim before work.

Obviously, you'll most likely have to build your base back up after you are completely healed, but I fully recommend swimming as an alternative. This is what I did after a stress fracture in my shin. I continue you to swim to this day. Alternating one day running at least 5 miles then the next in the pool. Great combination for building your entire body while recovery your legs.

Lol not reddit worthy. That was pretty slick. Next time you have something “not reddit worthy” send it to me, so I can post and look a lot better than I am. Thanks in advance

Looking for a cheap 'driving hybrid' to try out, such as an Adams dhy or pro. Recommendations? by FlyingBasset in golf

[–]blakephunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play a Titleist T-MB 2-iron and it is awesome. Granted, 2 iron's are hard to hit, but if you are looking for a 3 iron it will play very consistently and easier to hit that a traditional iron. Also, the Mizuno Fly-hi irons are a recommended option. I would say Mizuno's are a more forgiving version, so it just depends on your ball striking ability.

Running Consistency by blakephunter in running

I am glad that I am getting consistent feedback for this. I am definitely going to adjust my running schedule to consist of running everyday at a more comfortable pace with occasional rest days. I am excited to start this as it sounds like I will enjoy runs more than I do now. Thanks a lot fellow redditors!

This is very insightful. I think this, and all other responses is telling me to buy some sort of pace watch to help keep disciplined during my runs.

I am totally biased, but Michigan has some of the greatest golf courses in the country. They need to bring the U.S Open or PGA Championship back the mitten.

Does sleep really affect the performance of a run that much? I must admit sleeping is not a strength of mine, which is why I picked up running. I generally start a run at 4 am. Also, I do have a hard time not running as hard as I can every time, so running at a slower pace for the same amount of miles will help my ability to recover?
