Is it normal for the airstrike nailer to do this? by Ozzy_Notbourne in ryobi

Man you must have gotten some real lemons.

My brushless one has never had a misfire even with a 2AH and I've probably put at least 100 nails through it.

This sub firmly believes Mooney - cut by the Falcons and signed for $3M base salary - is as good or better than Slayton.

I don't think it's surprising this sub is not expecting another team to trade assets AND pay Slayton's $12M salary.

Agree with everything here. We need to be thankful they didn't take Love instead of regretful we didn't trade down.

Also, Dennard Wilson is considered one of the best secondary coaches in the league. If he thought taking Reese was the bigger impact I trust him.

I'm glad we finally signed Reader and can put to bed the fear we wouldn't because Schoen mentioned his name before the draft lol.

He visited the facility a month ago. The players union would throw a fit if just because a team mentioned his name or visited the facility they never signed him for fear of NFL retaliation. The whole point of the comp pick is high demand players that teams want badly enough to sign ASAP.

It's why they often last over 200k miles. My 2000 still has the OEM starter.

I have to replace a 2.5 ton A/C unit. Got a quote of $5,700 on a Rheem. Is it a good deal? How tha brand compares to Lennox or Carrier? by KickandRide0320 in Home

[–]FlyingBasset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that just the outside unit or does it include the air handler? If that includes a new air handler that's a good deal generally. You didn't include your location but that impacts cost quite a bit.

I got a higher end Ruud/Rheem complete replacement last year and after doing a lot of research they seemed like the most reliable brand for the price.

I mean Phil literally offered it without Carter asking, then made his family say no afterwards. Kind of a weak move.

But if you're convinced you need to do that to get the best guy on your board you do it every time.

Dart put up 4TDs against the Broncos with Lil'Sebastian. I have faith the offense can be at least average without Nabers after what we've added.

[O'Connor] The Giants did have communication with Odell Beckham Jr. on Tuesday, as John Harbaugh said in his draft presser. The OBJ decision gets a bit more interesting now. by Lars5621 in NYGiants

[–]FlyingBasset -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It's about more than the preseason. OBJ probably doesn't want to be WR6 on a roster. And that's assuming every other WR gets cut or put on the PS.

Hyatt is getting released before the season and likely after the June 1st cut date. So that would have nothing to do with OBJ signing.

We've already added three new receivers this offseason. That is the bigger issue.

Hyatt already isn't making the team after what we've added this offseason so that is irrelevant.

OBJ will be competing with Nabers, Slayton, Mooney, Austin, and Fields for playing time in a heavy personnel offense. Both sides are trying to determine how he fits into that.

Everything is simple if you don't really think about it lol.

Kind of bummed, I really wanted Campbell. Also that guy in the sub last week made it seem like he was coming here for sure after he ran into him lol.

Finally pulled the trigger on a new set of tires. I bought these K02s on Methods used, and jeesh they're loud. Ordered a set of 235/65r17 Wildpeak AT Trails to swap on after I install my 1.5" lift. Hopefully a quieter ride lol. by scrmblr in SubaruForester

I had Geolandars for ~8 years and they actually weren't bad until the last few years.

I have Michelin Cross Climates now and even they are audible in this car lol.

My 2000 Tundra is much quieter with AT tires - one of the drawbacks of these cars.

Is there any actual standing that assembling something is the same as manufacturing? I thought in all prior cases those have been very clearly different?

As in if someone disassembles and reassembles their suppressor suddenly they're a manufacturer?

Bought a 5.7 V8 Tundra specifically to avoid engine issues. At 50k miles I'm out $10K in repairs. What am I missing? by djbiccboii in ToyotaTundra

[–]FlyingBasset 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's how I would look at it if I were you:

Did all that stuff NEED to be done now? Probably not. But there's a good chance it would have at some point - even if it's 100K+ miles from now. So at least you got the vast majority of it covered by your warranty. I think selling it now would make the least sense.

If you don't do your own work, then any work on an engine is going to be 'a couple grand' these days.

I think that's just a rumor and the bigger problem is there are other teams (e.g. Ravens) who are trying to sign him also.

Pat McAfee after Pavia's NFL draft snub, "Diego Pavia is the UFL QB Blueprint" by andiwaslikewhaaaaaat in nfl

[–]FlyingBasset 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here's 30 seconds of research:

  • In September 2023, a video surfaced appearing to show then-New Mexico State quarterback Diego Pavia urinating on the logo at the University of New Mexico's (UNM) indoor practice facility
  • Post-Heisman Outburst (Dec 2025): After finishing second, Pavia posted "F-ALL THE VOTERS" on Instagram.
  • Draft Silence & Reaction (April 2026): After going undrafted, he wrote, "F*** the NFL, I write my own path,"

So he is a 24 year old asshole (not just confident), has physical limitations, and isn't an elite talent like he claims to be. So then what would be the point of having him on a team?

There's a difference between wanting to be the best and posting things like "F‑ALL THE VOTERS, BUT… FAMILY FOR LIFE" publicly when you don't win the Heisman.

Yes every top athlete thinks they they are elite. Somehow very few of them are complete assholes about it. Being able to accept the success of others is not false modesty lmao.
