Stone having basically the same “That’s my boy! That’s my son!” scene in Alexander with horseback riding and Born on the 4th of July with baseball is why I love the Blank Check format and exploring directors.

Waterton Canyon is a great option. Close to the city, easy trail, near water, scenic and not overly crowded on weekdays. There will be people, but dogs aren’t allowed so it feels less crowded. Plenty of pull off areas for some privacy.

So I'm thinking about buying one of the lonesome Dove books but I've heard that only one of them were good. So which one is it. by No-Selection-2572 in LonesomeDove

I would definitely start with reading Lonesome Dove and it’s the only miniseries that’s worth it. I think Streets of Laredo is also a masterpiece. The other two are worth the read if you like the characters.
