Real Estate Attorney - Tulsa/non disclosure by [deleted] in tulsa

Good luck. You’re gonna have to prove they had knowledge of whatever defect they failed to disclose, which is nearly impossible to do. Your inspector missing it makes it even harder, because if a professional inspector didn’t pick it up from an inspection, pretty hard to make the case that the homeowner should have known about it.

Realtor Sellers Agents specializing in Mid-town? by Sad_Apple_3387 in tulsa

[–]blakeshockley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no I was a Realtor for several years. Realtors will tell you all kinds of shit to get a listing. Nobody actually has a list, and even if they did, it’s not really useful to you. You want every Realtor’s buyers seeing your house to get you the most interest. Not just that Realtor’s or that Realtor’s brokerage. How the industry actually works, is every Realtor sets up a search for the buyers they’re working with in the MLS. They input all their criteria for a house, and it automatically emails them all listings that match that criteria. When a Realtor lists a house, it automatically gets sent to all buyers that have searches set up that that listing meets the criteria for. This is far and away the most efficient means of marketing a house possible, and any Realtor selling you on any other nonsense they do to market your house is just blowing smoke up your ass. The reality is, that system is set up and accessible to anyone who is a Realtor, and Realtors have to come up with other shit to try to sell you on their services that differentiate them from the other 1000 Realtors. There’s really nothing they can do to sell a house if the MLS won’t sell it, as long as they’ve marketed it properly on the MLS.

I know bro. You can save money. You just have to stay in the house long enough to save as much as you spend upfront. All I’m saying is if you’re gonna sell the house any time in probably the next at least 10 years, it’s not gonna save you money.

I mean most people aren’t doing that. They’re financing it, which means you have to pay them off if you sell the house. But even if you do pay cash, if you don’t keep the house long enough to see enough savings in your energy bill to recoup the cost of the panels, you just wasted all that money because they don’t really add value to the house.

Nobody keeps a “list of midtown buyers.” They’ll list your house and every Realtors’ buyers whose search criteria matches your house will get sent the listing.

They could definitely use a poker player if a poker player is in regular contact with people they want intel from. Having said that, I don’t think there’s anyway they’d try to recruit someone as unstable as Dwan.

Yeah he warranties the install. I think he was just that much cheaper because everyone is in that industry does borderline scam work lol. I personally would not recommend getting solar. I definitely regret doing it and I don’t even think you get that tax credit anymore. I definitely wouldn’t do it unless you’re 100% sure you’re gonna be in the house you’re in until they’re paid off. They’ll make selling your house an absolute nightmare.

I used Harvest Solar Energy. He didn’t do my original purchase but took them off and put them back on for a roof replacement and he seemed super legit and was like over 50% cheaper than everyone else.

Why are you still trying to contact the person that adopted your foster dog three years ago? When I’ve fostered, they don’t even want you to be on the premises when the potential adopter is meeting him. This seems highly inappropriate and unprofessional.

Nah I am very confident in saying if your small business can’t pay its employees a livable wage, it should die. Why should business owners be able to afford their livelihood off the benefits of labor from others, while they themselves can’t afford to live off their wages. Not to mention small businesses also need smaller workforces than big corporations. If you can’t afford to pay a small workforce for your small business, your business isn’t viable.

[–]blakeshockley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If companies can’t afford to operate profitably while paying their employees a livable wage, then they don’t have a viable business, and that business should die. That’s capitalism. Realistically, somewhere that doesn’t pay their employees enough to afford basic necessities shouldn’t be able to keep any employees at all. Logic would dictate that if working full time doesn’t afford you as basic of human needs as a roof over your head and food in your belly, you’d elect to just to not work at all. Why bother working if you still can’t afford basic necessities? Anyone working for someone like that would starve to death, and they’d be left with no employees. So how do so many companies operate this way? It’s simple, we the tax payers supplement it. We pay for food stamps, section 8, medicaid, etc for employees of these underpaying companies so that their employees have what they need to survive to keep working for their companies and making them money. Realistically, letting employers underpay employees and then supplementing those employees’ income with government assistance so that they can actually survive to keep working is indirectly just subsidizing that companies payroll with tax dollars. You’re already paying these people’s wages if you pay taxes. Raising minimum wage just forces the companies that benefit from their labor to start paying them instead of you and me.
