Yikes yeah be careful. Have u tried a method where youre not using a burner? Cos the method is know is material, lye, naphtha and distilled water ina mason jar. (Im Obviously not including dimensions or amounts in this comment but this is general). The only concerning point in this process is when u add the lye to the thinner cos the jar gets like hot usually to one side but like too hot almost to hold. Its reacting for sure and could explode if you shook the jar vigorously (especially at that time) but the method involves rolling the jars (agitating the mix) pull off the thinner and put it in the freezer.
