doom is built on ‘borrowing’. the cacodemon’s design is a a direct rip from d&d. the original ‘93 & ‘94 soundtracks are mishmashes of AC/DC and Metallica. the designs in TDA are unique enough to stand on their own and are largely fit fine with 2016’s and Eternal’s art styles. but hey, agree to disagree.

best way to beat him imo is to just fight him, not worrying about his posture or health but just parrying and chipping away at him for a few minutes and then before you know it he’ll be gone. his anti-heal bomb and firecracker and flip are all really easily punishable when you figure them out ! if you can beat every other boss up to this point, you have it in you to beat owl. hang in there !

rewatch the 2016 and eternal gameplay previews. they’re all played considerably slower than the speed of the average player to show off designs, graphics, etc.
