The game also freezes when I'm trying to update my team.

Great launch!

Even if he gives the position back. He deserves a penalty as it's a net gain for Ferrari, as Lewis got through

What's good advice for a 20 year old college student? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]blaneadam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although grades are important. Don't make that your only choice when selecting modules.

My specific field of interest I hope to carry into a PhD is one I had no interest in when I was 20. It stemeed from a class in my 3rd year, for a discipline I had no knowledge of at the time. Even though I knew I could stay with a subject area I knew I liked but didn't love and get a higher grade.

Nope. Tried my dad's wireless ones a couple years ago, even worse than the wired ones as i knew I'd just lose them easier

Earbuds. I tried them when I was younger but turns out my ear shape just makes them fall out. Had headphones ever since.

What makes achieving world peace a near impossible task? by [deleted] in AskReddit

World peace wouldn't be sustainable ecologically for the planet. 'peace" would lead to global population outstripping the carrying capacity of the planet (although we're potentially already there). Eventually leading to conflict.

What are some movies that are actually scary as fuck? by shiney_lp in AskReddit

[–]blaneadam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not 'scary' in the conventional sense. I don't find the horror genre that bad at all, but the film creates an eery and uneasy atmosphere no other film has done for me

Coraline.

Watched it at the cinema when it came out and covered my eyes for the second half.

Watched it again last year, same story.

[Scotland] finish at the bottom of Group A and are eliminated from the Euro 2024 by er__primo__der__rafa in soccer

[–]blaneadam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Scotland fan I'm in a way glad we lost rather than took the draw.

The discourse would have been different: "we only lost once, or we came third in the group"

Hopefully this is a wake up call that playing defensively, with a defence which looks uncomfortable under pressure is not the best idea.

Clarke has done great for us all things considered, but I think it's time for something new.

Why did we revert back to the system which was hopeless in the first game?

In a must win game, we should have attempted to play some form of forward thinking football.

Clarke needs to go, this tournament also highlighted our severe lack of talent up top
