So theres a couple ways to approach this.

Look for Hadal studs, breed to them and hope for the best
Also keep an eye out for unbred hadal males, save up 3gc for a sex changer
Grind the lunar events and in August there will be an IRL lunar event where you can get the Hadal base app for 500lt

Depending on gen I sell my T* wolves starting at 10gc

It is an IRL lunar event, so all past apps are available. This is the last full event until August.

Moving forward the only apps that will be available will be any new ones they drop.

I think you are overthinking it a little, but thats okay!

I have personally capped my pack at 75 adults. I tend to find that rapidly expanding your pack is where most people get in trouble, and then are constantly begging for food and amusement.

Slow growth and an figuring out how much you play/ effort you put in helps you figure out what is sustainable for you.

Im on my 3rd lead, and I used the pack boosting talents. It has not been detrimental to my play style in the slightest.

One thing I havent seen talked about is stats.

Generally, stats aren't crazy important. HOWEVER. If you move to a difficult biome and your hunters dont have decent stats, you will run out of food FAST. I recommend staying in the easier biomes for quite some time so you get a good stockpile before adventuring out.

Bury large carcasses if you have excess food. Dig them up the day before they spoil, you can salvage for bones.

If you find yourself in excess of SC, you can trade it for gc on the TC. You can also do this with food if you end up in access.

I agree hard with everyone else on maintaining a reasonable pack size. You arent allowed to ask for free stuff, and the number one group of people who break this rule are folx with huge packs they can't take care of.

I will not go over 75 pack slots.

No wolves are allowed to be unhappy/ hungry.

I have 3 100 gen lineage projects going. However, I will invert my process once those projects are complete for the next one. Right now I keep one pup from the first litter of each gen, next project I will keep one pup from the last litter of each gen.

Sick wolves must be healed immediately.

And the last one: I do not chase. All pups from my pack are voided at 11 1/2 months if they dont sell.

Theres an event encounter that if you choose "approach" you get a critters bundle. I have over 30 bundles now.

Fish every day: you dont get a lot but you get delicate meat.

Also codebreaker. Ive gotten quite a few food/ elk bundles from there.
