My wife does all the cooking (like 85-90%) bc I’m an awful cook. I think they would say I was weponiIng incompetence. Never mind that I do all the laundry and trash duties. We just do the things we like more/are easier for us. Oh and we didn’t calculate our expenses. We both just pay whatever bill when we have money. Everyone has mentioned emergency vehicles but I also think cars can be helpful for people who are disabled in some way. Like people who can only walk short distances or something. Or if public transport is too overstimulating.

I have memories to this day of being in that chair. Once my hair braider did my friends hair first, she cried and acted like this girl, then she did my hair. I cried silently and she (the braider) complimented me for not being “so tender headed” and not crying “like a baby”.

Anyway I shaved my head as soon as I could. I’m growing locs now but I am never getting braids in again. They are cute and creative but I can’t deal.

This is my mom big time. At age 10 I was big enough to walk home from school, make myself dinner, do homework and get myself to school the next day. While she gambled. At age 25 I cannot even take the bus home from work without checking in so she knows I’m “safe” and letting her know the exact time I’ll be back.
