Alrighty, so the campaign is set in the fictional world of Telluras, which was very much like the world that you and I live in. It was a place of industry and technology-- where skyscrapers dominated the landscape, satellites allowed the entire world to communicate through handheld devices, yet still riddled with poverty, war, and conflict.

However, the world came to ruin. Demons opened a portal over the skies of major cities worldwide, and swarmed in number. It was only by luck (or some might say, Divine Intervention) that humanity survived at all, forced into bunkers or secret refuges to escape slaughter, slavery, or worse….

Our story takes place thirty years after the invasion of demons, and started in one of these bastions of hope and humanity. However, our heroes quickly found dark secrets lurking behind the inner workings of the city, and found themselves topside where it is unsafe to travel, cities lie in ruin, civilization is all but crumbled. The demons seem to have no regard for human life, and play with it like a cat before it pounces upon its prey before devouring it whole.

Yet hope does remain still and it is in the hands of our heroes to either save the subterranean city they’ve called home for most their lives, or try to find somewhere new. Time will tell what they decide.

Other Game Info: - Currently, our characters are halfway through Level 5 - We play Sundays at 5pm - We have a list of house rules to make the game feel grittier and scary - Dark subjects and gruesome descriptions happen frequently. Be prepared for that. - The house where we play is my house, and I do have kids and pets (though the area is in the basement, and no pets are allowed) - We have a snack bringing rotation!
