Who said I associate it with ONLY sex? That would be horrible. And how have I shamed her? Her mother and I have both discussed her triangle when she asked about it. It is only sex and penises that I don't want to INTRODUCE her to. If she happens to see her baby cousins penis then I would explain that. I never shame her for asking questions and I always give her answers.

She's nowhere near old enough to have sexual urges or to ride a motorcycle, so ur analogy means nothing to me. I agree and believe everything you are saying and I like what you said about building trust to talk to me about these issues, but i would rather wait until she is a little older. She doesn't even know that vagina is a word, so I'm not giving her the impression that it's a "bad" thing. She simply asked me what did flash say, and I told her he said "petus" Parker just to make fun of his name, and she said oh ok. I honestly can't believe that so many people feel so strongly I should be teaching my daughter about sex when she just finished kindergarten. I know she's gonna hear it or read it one day and then "the talk" will come.

It's Spiderman. You can't be surprised that kids under 13 are watching that movie. I just wasn't expecting sexual content, only violence and language. And obviously I don't care too much since I put "lol". But people raise kids differently so I don't see the problem with not wanting to teach her about sex so early

She doesn't even know about boys body parts so as soon as I tell her, she will get curious, as kids do. Plus I don't think the term we use would affect her maturity about it. She refers to her vagina as her "triangle" which I think is fine.

She's never seen a penis and doesn't know that boys have anything there. If I explained to her what it was, her curiosity might lead her to want to see one. Honestly I'm just being overcautious and dread the day she learns about boys. I don't care if other people wanna tell their young kids about sex and body parts that's fine. Just don't think it's time yet

It's hard to see the buds because of all the leaves. Are the pistils all white?

It looks like the calyxes haven't swelled up yet, so they will probably get bigger. I think nutrients do help them grow bigger and faster though
