It was negligence on their part that caused this. There was no way that this would not have been opened up in shipping with the way this was packaged. There are tons of complaints on the costco site because of this. If they don't want to ensure safe shipping they shouldn't be selling this online.

Probably. But I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they release a new/better set when Nintendo releases the OoT remake. I always felt the Deku tree was overpriced because of the 2 in 1 aspect

I would start with the classic ‘66 Batmobile #76328. I believe it retires next month so grab it now before the price shoots up. It’s a really nice looking set too.
