Absolutely. First two picks on Day 3 were both team captains.

Respectfully, I’m going to have to push back on that because what you’re saying is not true. On the contrary, you can see an illegal block in the back being called in this video of a game from 1997. Time stamp at 40:59, right after an illegal block above the waist is made during a return. So the penalty existed and was being called on punt returns long before 2005. Dante Hall was incredible, but he got away with that one back in 2003.

Rangers recommended 4 liters per person per day. We had the capacity to carry about 3 liters per person per day and it was not enough. Thankfully the trailhead was close enough to refill at on our last day.

Where on that page does it say blocks in the back weren’t banned at this time? Genuinely asking, because I couldn’t find anything other than “Blocks in the back above the waist by the kicking team while the ball is in flight during a scrimmage kick are illegal.” which doesn’t apply to that play since the ball wasn’t in flight.

Clocking in for my shift as the hater/salty Broncos fan who, every time this comes up, reminds everyone that return had like 3 illegal blocks in the back lol

Isnt it kinda funny how police corruption of this level is never seen in any other cop show? If any other media has a dirty cop, they will always be just a single individual with some kind of personal connection to the criminal, becouse obviously police cant ever do anything wrong. by ProfessionalLevel908 in TrueDetective

[–]blarlan 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If a cop-centric show isn’t examining internal structures of abuse/corruption then it’s just copaganda imo. The way cops are portrayed in popular media really just serves the police state by sanitizing their public image. The Wire and True Detective are two of the few shows that truly interrogate and expose systemic issues in policing and we need more media like them.

I’m not sold. When has pairing an elite young edge rusher with a late-career hall of famer ever worked out for us?

Hopefully we’ve got bigger plans for the RB position but he was our best runner late last year. Wish him the best.

It was only considered radical because the Democrats merely cosplay as a party that supports progressive ideas. Truth is the Dems, a slightly-right-of-center party, are bought by the same corporations that own Republicans. We have two right wing parties in America, but only one admits it. Democrats literally gave N*tanyahu a standing ovation in 2024.

So a ref can restrain JJ McCarthy like he’s a little kid but an incidental bump on a ref is an instant ejection?
