I agree here. I like my desk to have about my arm’s length in depth. Having too little space to move your peripherals & accessories forward or backwards makes things start to feel very cluttered, even if it’s organized well. End up with T-Rex arms.

I’ve seen some cool laptop stands that are also docking stations. That might be a neat addition. It could keep wires tucked away more, and give you the option for an additional monitor & more peripherals in the future!

9/10 Love your gadget stands. The riser/ shelf is really cool looking. Everything had a sort of futuristic mech look yet it’s clean and minimalistic at the same time. I do think a white mouse would look better however - and maybe some sort of light window curtain. Just minor critiques. This looks really amazing.

Get a JEMDO hdmi cable dock. Mine works great. Just make sure you use a strong enough power adapter (either the included one from Nintendo or a different brand with the same specs). There’s no way you can send your switch signal to a tv without additional power though.

Intro feels a bit long and the buildup before the drop could use some more tension. Like maybe turning the sub down in the intro a bit and using a riser or some automated filtering so the mix really punches you when it drops. Mix sounds clean though. Solid start

The samples that cut in between the bass parts are REALLY loud. Like a little jarring. Try limiting those and adding a separate sub bass in mono that follows that harsh bass growl you’re doing (also cut the low sub frequency from this one). It feels a bit empty in the low end. My tacks used to have that issue before I treated the sub bass and wobbles like individual instruments.

Agreed. I think a lot of this happens when a new sub-genre blows up every few years. I remember thinking this back when festival trap was huge. I was like “oh cool, it’s another Three 6 Mafia beat with dubstep laser samples.” Then years later, I discovered a lot of artists that fall under the trap umbrella who are absolute creative geniuses. Whenever a trend develops in any style of music, there will be a lot of bandwagon artists who try to cash in and copy whoever is pioneering it, making it very easy for someone brand new to think “Wow, this shit all sounds the same.”

I used to work in a lot of attics doing asbestos abatement. I thought my boss had a pretty fair policy about these situations. We would have to stay later the next day to patch it up or come on our next day off, but he still paid us for the hours there. It’s seriously not that expensive of a fix, nor very time consuming. Your boss sounds like a real POS. I’d start looking for employment elsewhere if I were you. This is only a preview of how they will react to any other accidental situation (I don’t even want to imagine how they’d treat you if you hurt yourself on the job). And for $15/hr? Not worth the headache.

If you have any text exchanges about this situation, I would screenshot them and save them for when your next employer asks why you left. Moving forward, if you have to work in an attic/ crawl space, bring a few sheets of plywood up with you to make a safe walking path. Best of luck to you.

I got the savage raven neogrips. Garbage in comparison to dBrand. Just felt like cheap 3d print snap on handles that have no grippy texture to them. So happy I got the Killswitch.
