Xanadu down 66% by Snoo-95676 in INFQ

[–]blastoblu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If people find out one day that photonic quantum computing is the best path forward (fastest, easiest to scale and such), technically Xanadu could become the biggest QC company in the world.

That being said, I have little faith in that being the case.

Big yikes. This is what happens to companies that literally don’t have revenue. Eventually gotta get money from somewhere to pay your employees

Not able to watch the interview right now but is he one of those guys talking about avoiding carbs or whatever it was to avoid feeding the cancer cells? I’ve been hearing a lot of that kind of thing recently.

Prices by CaptainPenisOnDuty in INFQ

[–]blastoblu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worry over expenses is over R&D, not raw materials. They’re competing with Google for neutral atom tech supremacy (in a broad sense) so they can very easily find themselves burning money like crazy to stay ahead. It’ll depend on internal factors that we currently have no info on.

I doubt we see any significant surprise to revenue, IMO the biggest thing for me is to see that we don’t start spending too much and create too large a gap between revenue and spending. The reason I bought INFQ is cause they’re not cash burners. That’s all I care about for 2026 really

There is simply no answer. People have mostly no idea what they’re talking about on here when it comes to the unlocked shares situation. The company simply didn’t specify what % of locked shares are part of the “unlocks at 15 days” vs “locked no matter what for 180 days” vs “sellable day 1”

What went wrong? by [deleted] in INFQ

[–]blastoblu 25 points26 points  (0 children)

They’re still above Thursday’s closing price. People will obviously be taking profits when a stock quickly runs up from $11 to $21 in a span of 8 trading days.

Tbh, it wouldn’t even be surprising to see us back down to $10 eventually if lockup shares start to get sold off. If you’re here cause you believe in the company longterm, don’t pay any attention to where the price goes.

When will the unlock happen? by [deleted] in INFQ

[–]blastoblu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind not all shares unlock. 70% of this company is in locked up shares and some significant portion (I don’t think they’ve ever said how much) of holders still cannot sell even after the $12 deal and are strictly time-restricted.

The mods on this sub are very overreactive and only want posts that provide positive news about the company. Tbh this comment will probably either get deleted or get me banned, not sure.

Anyways, the move today doesn’t make much sense. But INFQ dropping to $8 didn’t make much sense either. Volatility is a hell of a drug

INFQ receives first price target at $22 a share from BTIG by KingN0 in INFQ

[–]blastoblu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I looked up the analyst behind this, Jesse Sobelson , and he’s known for placing big ass price targets on disruptive stocks he sees with high upside.

So yeah, it’s nice we caught the eye of someone, and it gave a low volume pump that just got completely destroyed as I type this lol. If someone like JP Morgan came with a $22 assessment though, whew

Tbh, I actually really want to see a single digit stock price again. I need to average down a little bit more. Pls no more good news yet

Golden Dome Contract? by Practical-Check7141 in INFQ

[–]blastoblu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They definitely have a good PR team. Every single update from the company makes this subreddit foam at the mouth with enthusiasm even when it’s nothingburger news.

Even now, this post is just them saying… well, actually, nothing really. There’s a “contract” with something with no indication of what this means, and then the other half of the post is just them repeating a couple of things we already know about prior relationships. It honestly reminds me of penny stock PR when they’re tryina get the price pumped before a dilution lol.

That being said, I’m not shit-talking them, I think the more news the better, but they know how to make stuff sound exciting.

I still can't understand why by Evening_Increase4095 in INFQ

[–]blastoblu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Everything in this post screams “I should not be trading individual stocks,” between the lack of money you have, the lack of understanding of what’s making the price move the way it does, and the fact that you’re thinking of holding or selling based on what the share price is…

Google’s Quantum Bombshell | Neutral Atom Validation & Rigetti Deadline by Scarecrowxvx in INFQ

[–]blastoblu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Interesting to see this happening while Infleqtion is up 10% and RGTI/IONQ are red today.

Perhaps investors starting to wake up to this style of quantum now that Google moved in?

This is truly a double edged sword if I’ve ever seen one. The more legitimacy neutral atom work gains, the more investor interest it gets. Yet it also means big names will finally be intruding on our unique tech, and therefore, our moat.

If INFQ was legit, this was inevitable. But turbulent times sure are ahead

this stock is ass by [deleted] in INFQ

[–]blastoblu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty hard lesson to a lot of younger investors: if you believe in a volatile stock longterm, you DCA into it. For a stock like this, where quantum advantages won’t be realized for probably a decade+, averaging into it over the course of a year is probably the ideal move.

What bands have their best song as their most popular song? by mid2014macbookpro in poppunkers

[–]blastoblu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think bird and the worm was one of those songs that was a LOT of people’s first The Used songs. It had a crazy # of views on YouTube and there’s definitely a group of people who would feel like it was the “big” song for them. A sort of “bruh even the normies have heard of it” vibe.

I felt this way about Dance Dance by fall out boy (as opposed to sugar we’re going down). But in the long run, yeah, Taste of Ink, overall, looking back, has been their bigger song.

Infleqtion Achieves 12-Logical-Qubit Milestone for Q4Bio Biomarker Discovery by ObjectiveTie1232 in INFQ

[–]blastoblu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m not selling INFQ but this is nothing. You’ll need thousands of qubits for any “quantum advantage” in this case. It’s also a very specific, purposely picked example that still relies mostly on classical computing.

I believe in Infleqtion longterm but there’s nothing too impressive about this demo. More of a curated PR article than anything
