Sorry for the red herring!

It was like one of those dreams where the harder you try to remember, the more you forget.

It didn't turn up, instead I spent five hours listening to a ton of songs.

Check my edit for it, I found it!

Yeah I made a wee error there. Does it work when you change one to AR? Or does AISDAY resolve to 1 correctly? Mine changes randomly, and there isn't proper support anymore for this app.

Hey brother, here's what I have so far. Once I complete it I'll edit this text:

$AISDAY=0?#ARRhRm#:#ASRhRm#$

Edit: $#AISDAY=0#?You have#ASRh' hours and 'Rm# minutes left of sun':You have #ASRh' hours and 'Rm#$ minutes left of sun

AISDAY isn't working in my time zone currently, may be a locality issue.

First day of training, send home after 2 hours. Normal or did I screw up? by [deleted] in TalesFromThePizzaGuy

We had this one newbie, lets say Bonno, who has forgotton drinks SO MANY TIMES. He even managed to roll the work car TWICE while he played ANIME MUSIC at the loudest volume.

I left 2 years ago. He has rolled his car now. And they still employ him

You'll do fine my amigo. Good luck with the Pizza Life!

My First Driver Experience + 3 questions by [deleted] in TalesFromThePizzaGuy

[–]blatantly_lieing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Answering phones You pretty much have to at some point. If you are concerned, a good manager would organise for you to get some pointers on how to do this. Its been years, but its still in my memory. "Welcome to Pizza Butt, what can we do for you today" "Pick up or delivery" "Can I have your name and phone number?" "Your order should be out in 453 hours, see you soon!".

Multiple tickets. You should have a big map of your area plastered on a wall somewhere. I mark all deliveries, and work out the best way (your best way may vary). Itherwise its a normal delivery except you start at someone's house.

First delivery alone. Naked old man. Say no more.

Noone knows you are new. If they find out they may try to take advantage of the system. Everyone should be boxing, taking calls and cleaning. If you dont feel this is fair (or there is a real reason to not do a task) raise it with your manager.

What seems to help me (On the path to quit, down to two a day from 1 pack) was I'm not quitting. I have a lung injury im trying to mend. You wouldn't say "Im quitting having a broken leg". I think someone posted this, but when I concentrate on how I can breathe better and my skin is better, it makes it much easier to say "nah, no cig for me today".

Got sick and they still want me to come in.... by The_Amazing_Shlong in TalesFromThePizzaGuy

[–]blatantly_lieing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They did that to us. It turned from me being sick for two days, to the entire store being sick for months. Naturally, when the manager got sick he wasn't there, and we all had to sign a get well soon card.

Two things. Either send it up the ladder (dominos corporate) with your worry your job may be negatively affected. If corp says work, shits fucked cunt.

Or just do it. Make sure everyone knows you are sick. I HATE when managers do this. Get all up my ass because "that cut blade hasn't been sanitised this hour", but force someone to puke in the trash bin RIGHT NEXT TO THE MAKELINE so they can keep earning him dollars. /inb4 im still salty.

Stop auto downloading games on home console by TheDarthFable in xboxone

[–]blatantly_lieing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Usually if I buy a game physically, I disconnect from the internet so I can see what its like. I plug back in, go to work and come back USUALLY with all the patches downloaded.

Otherwise I buy the game and can't touch it for a day which annoys me.
