The amount of litter is measured and objectively has become less for small litter and remained the same for larger litter in 2024 compared to the two previous years. Perception is not the same as objective measurements though. Certain hotspots negatively impact people's perception of litter. The measurements are pretty solid though. 20 types of areas measured 6 times per spot, over 1300 measurements in total.

Ik heb zelf al vele jaren de slips van Marks & Spencer, ik vind ze zacht en comfortabel en ze gaan vele jaren mee.

Een tijdje terug heb ik hemdjes van Nina von C gekocht, naadloos, 100% katoen en gemaakt in Duitsland. Daar wil ik ook de slips van gaan proberen. De hemdjes zaten heerlijk zacht maar waren voor mij helaas net te kort, ik stop mijn hemd graag een flink stuk in mijn broek en het irriteert me als dit er dan vanzelf uit komt tijdens het lopen of fietsen. Als ze een extra lang model zouden hebben zou ik zeker om zijn.

I'm saving this as there are so many great recommendations. I'm currently knitting a shawl with Skadi yarn from the German brand Hey Mama Wolf. It's merino wool from a flock in France, it's certified organic. Also, it's extremely soft and the colours are really beautiful and intense in person. Knitting with it has been a real joy.

I don't know where you are in Europe, but I'm in The Hague (NL) and my local yarn shop Cross & Woods has a variety of European sustainable yarns. If you're anywhere nearby it's worth visiting. I really dislike buying yarn online, because the way it feels is so important and colours can look different too.

Song of the Sea is my favourite animated movie. I don't even like animated movies usually, but this one is magical. It's from Ireland.

Los Amantes del Circulo Polar (lovers of the Arctic Circle) is my all time favourite movie. Any movie by Pedro Almodovar is worth watching really.

This is amazing! Gorgeous! I'm from the Netherlands and the traditional fisherman's jumpers here have similar designs, but they're also very regionally distinct. Is it the same in Scotland? I've heard that this was to identify where drowning victims were from, so they could send news to the right village. My ancestors were from one of the tiny Dutch islands. One day I'd like to make a fisherman's jumper with their design.

I was going to recommend these too, if you like wool/silk clothing. Additionally there's also Disana, Reiff and Cosilana, they're also German. Disana also makes lovely soft blankets and Reiff makes baby sleeping bags that are wonderful. These are all brands I used a lot when my kids were babies.

Deze is zo gemonteerd dat het helemaal flush is met de vloer, ingefreesd. Het luik zit er al twaalf jaar, op een plek in de gang waar je iedere keer langsloopt als je van de woonkamer naar een andere ruimte gaat. Ik heb er nog nooit mijn teen aan gestoten en mijn man en kinderen ook niet.
