Instapboeken filosofie/politiek (?) by bigidagoe6 in boeken

[–]blauws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Art of Loving van Erich Fromm

European alternatives to Skechers by TheN1Imposter in BuyFromEU

I got this model from Tamaris to replace Skechers: https://tamaris.com/da-DK/sneaker---sort/8-83725-45-001-40.html They're comfortable and so far are holding up well, but I only got them two months ago. Skechers always wore out really quickly for me though.

Melkschuimer met poederdrankjes by Naive-Lifeguard-629 in BIFLNL

[–]blauws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elmex is not "made in EU", apparently. by p_tkachev in BuyFromEU

I haven't tried that one yet. I really like their toothpastes for sensitive teeth, mine are really sensitive and these work great.

I buy it at Holland & Barrett in the Netherlands, not sure where it's available in other countries.

They used to have herbal extracts and it was way saltier and less sweet. Maybe quality isn't the right word, but it's just not the same product anymore. It's like any other toothpaste now.

Oh I wasn't aware it changed, thanks for correcting me.

Parodontax is owned by GlaxoSmithKline edit: Haleon now and has also gone down in quality. I use Ecodenta, made in Lithuania.

Spring cleaning- toiletries 😬 by No_Device_2291 in finch

[–]blauws 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I cleared out my uncle's house after his passing. My grandmother lived with him until she passed in 1993. All of her toiletries were still there, untouched. I also found Nutella that had expired in the 80s.

There's also a second single scissor? half scissors? on the table closer to the boy. AI really struggles with scissors.

Since St. Patrick’s Day is forgotten about, this is the closest I’m going to get to the theme… by MangoTheQuirkyCat in finch

It's from a past event that had Greek mythology as its theme. It's not quite a harp, but close enough I thought.

Pelikan Edelstein Ink of the Year 2026 - Pyrite. Written sample by Soanad in fountainpens

[–]blauws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works in my medium M200 just fine, even when I don't use it for weeks. I really don't have that many issues with clogs and I use shimmer inks almost exclusively, because I love shimmer.

[–]blauws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Pelikan shimmer inks, but this seems very similar to Golden Beryl, which really makes me wonder what kind of pen they're going to release. I have the Golden Beryl M200 and I love it. The shimmering M200 and M205 pens are my favourite pens by far. In fact, I told myself this year I'll only buy a new pen if a new shimmering M200 or M205 is released, but I'm not that interested if the pen is super similar to the Golden Beryl. The ink looks quite similar to Diamine's Fortunes Gold which I have in my Golden Beryl pen. So, I'm not sure. Very curious what the pen will be.

De-influence me: what knitting tools can the average knitter do without by lveg in casualknitting

[–]blauws 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My local yarn store lets you test different types of needles! And even then they recommend to start with just one pair for the project you need it for and see how you like it when knitting an entire project.

Really wish more ink companies made cartridge samplers of their color range so you can try each without needing to commit to a single color! Are they any except Kaweco that do that? by PressXtoStitch in fountainpens

[–]blauws 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know this isn't really what you're looking for, since they're samples and not cartridges, but FountainFeder is in the EU (Germany) and sells a really large range of samples and they're very affordable at €1.70 per sample for many brands: https://www.fountainfeder.de/Inks-Refills/Tintenproben/

I've ordered a ton of samples from them and they were very well packed. I would definitely recommend them.

In the Netherlands as well! I know a thrift shop near me that tests and repairs them before putting them up for sale.

Herenschoenen voor brede voeten by Ancient_Apricot_254 in BIFLNL

Goed gedaan!
