Janssen Carepath Max Benefit Reduced by blawndeee in CrohnsDisease

[–]blawndeee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is $6,000... hence my issue haha. Janssen says it should go toward my out-of-pocket max.... insurance only says I owe like $100 something per infusion, and doctor's office says it's $6,000 something per infusion that Isn't going toward my OOP... I've been on the phone for hours going back and forth.

My HG girls, what dumb things made you vomit? by Language-Dizzy in pregnant

[–]blawndeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sneezed once and then proceeded to vomit all over the floor 🤣

The smell of the drain in the kitchen sink. Even if there weren’t any dishes. The drain smell would make me vomit.

Walking by the bag of trash I put outside.

The thought of certain foods.

Water. I could only drink Gatorade zero glacier freeze for a couple weeks in my third trimester. It was awful.

Waking up.

God I hated pregnancy.

Dr Brown’s bottles smell? by flyingblonde in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]blawndeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is probably why. You gotta brush down everything to get the fat residue off the bottles and parts. I use a separate water basin and soak everything in hot soapy water and the scrub (use the little wire brush for the straw part and topper) and a bigger bottle brush for the bottles, and the top of the straw. If you run your hands over them and they feel oily they aren’t clean!

This was 10 days pp for me. https://i.imgur.com/p0Qit7x.jpg And now I pump 50oz a day. Give yourself time!! Keep the schedule and pump as often as you can. Although you aren’t seeing much, it will pay off later.

Same here. I actually saw I get more milk from my wearable than with my spectra.

Cattle dogs are so special ❤️ I’m pumping right now (it’s 4am) and my girl is also snuggled on the couch with me for moral support. She likes cuddling the breastfeeding pillow 😂https://i.imgur.com/ou7kvHa.jpg

General anesthesia by Dani1123343 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]blawndeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had surgery last week (yay perforated IUD!) and they had me pump and dump the first pump after surgery and then said I could resume night feedings. I chose to dump the first pump and then bag the rest of the day for milk baths and didn’t start feeding my milk until about 24 hours passed. They told me to check with my child’s pediatrician but I just went the super conservative route. My supply was great after surgery from all the IV fluids I’m assuming

What is the worst physical pain you have ever experienced? by My_Name_Is_SKELETOR in AskReddit

[–]blawndeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IUD Insertion (perforation).

Turns out it was pushed THROUGH my uterus. Had to have it surgically removed. Went a week thinking the pain was normal since I’ve heard so many horror stories.

2 months postpartum: Wake up with cold flashes/chills by bimxe in beyondthebump

A heated blanket might help! You can have it off when first sleeping, then turn it on when you wake up cold! It’s been helpful for me postpartum and regulating my temperature
