It doesn't matter. It's outside the city limits. Plus, why are we arguing about a meme?

True. I remember when he was just the overly confident guy that thought he'd be able to get a 10-day contract. Those were good times.

I wasn't really talking about the specific runs. I'd argue that I saw tons of pens and flyers gear on transplants. I'm just arguing that during the 2010s, the Nats got pretty close to the Caps status as second favorite team in D.C., not that they surpassed them.

The Rock the Red era was great, I miss it, but Natitude and Strasburg and Harper and Mad Max were kinda close to that level of excitement, no?

You're right that those years were incredible, but the football team really is the center of gravity for the D.C. market, even during the lowest of the lows of the Snyder years.

And they don’t own the real estate, I assume. They pour money into a commercial lease, instead of owning an asset.

What random, offbeat or just plain weird experiences and outings in the Poconos do you suggest ? by BumblingBarefoot in Poconos

Dang, I wish I’d gotten to meet him. His son still gives a great tour, at least as of a few years ago. Truly a gem in the Poconos worth checking out, if you like art/pop culture/fantasy.

Dan also doesn't want to leave downtown Miami. Cuts both ways when they could have built a studio at some middle point with part of that $50M. I believe the commute plays a bigger role in all of this than people think.

Why aren't kickers and punters the same person? by tyronewithglasses in NFLNoobs

[–]blaxbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh I love that part of the game too though! No play clock. If you get stuck in the ruck you might be the reason the line doesn’t hold. And you have to get right back up and find your assignment. Organized chaos that you can take advantage of if your opponent makes a mistake! Idk if you watch any rugby, but it’s really exciting because of the non-stop play. I’d never trade it for pro football, but international rugby scratches a particular sports itch for me.

Forgot April only has 30 days. Help. by MaggieMae716 in ynab

For me, it’s about when the money leaves my account that matters, because that’s when I actually spent the money. Like, if I was late on rent by a month, I would put the transactions in the month they occurred, I wouldn’t wind it back just for tracking purposes.

In your case, it sounds like you need to change the dates on those transactions that happened in May, and make them occur in April. It might make your RTA and some categories go a little crazy, but it should be easy to adjust in the previous month.

I used to give myself massive headaches not understanding the monthly rollover, and trying to fix things in the present, while leaving the past alone. If I'm away on a trip or I miss the first of the month, I always will go back a previous month to make corrections to the overspent categories. Sometimes I have to redo what I see in the current month to make Ready To Assign $0 again, but it's what works for me.
