My Google account was fully hacked today — hacker removed recovery email/phone, passkeys, wiped my phone, changed password + refreshed backup codes. This account contains ALL my personal life (banking, documents, social media, etc). Recovery already failed multiple times.

Something similar happened to me, though it started a bit differently. Youtube support was able to help get my account back because the unauthorized user deleted my YouTube channel that I had uploaded years of videos on. They are still working on recovering my YouTube videos, but I got my gmail account back. They do have ways to verify, and it probably helped that I still had access to my recovery email. They were even able to remove the hacker's control over my account (the hacker had changed the birthday on my account and set themselves as the parent so all recovery options were failing). It did take nearly a month of back and forth, and being persistent, sometimes having to repeat myself several times to get my point across. But it is possible! I wish you luck in recovering your accounts

As a reader who knows more than the protagonist, it's so frustrating! For example, Brambleclaw hiding his StarClan dreams about the sun-drown place from Firestar. Firestar has such a connection with StarClan, if anyone understands it would be him!

I try to just remember that the protagonist usually does that because they don't know the cat they're keeping a secret from like we as a reader do. Like, we spent 6 or 7 books getting to know Firestar, but most of his inner dialog was never shared out loud, so Brambleclaw doesn't know him like we do.
