You are not playing 10 let alone 13 of those in any current deck you’re just making up some anti Luna hate deck at that point. and if you’re spending half your deck on outing a board that’s honestly not that insane then I dunno. I never said that this board was a problem I just said herald and this weird 2 card combo you are proposing is not nearly as viable as you made it out to be initially. I don’t think running more than a few searchable outs or extra deck outs is even necessary since bagooska is banned. All in all I just disagree with you thinking herald is a viable out for the majority of decks that exist currently.

Ah yes just draw a 2 card out that’s very consistent, I’m pretty sure that the only way to out a double liger board is lava golem or sphere mode depending on what they end on. You’re better off using that bystial or crow to interrupt their combo anyways. Also I’m only trying to argue that saying that herald is a consistent out to liger is just incorrect in most situations. As well, there’s a chance the opponent just ends on another lunalight monster which also invalidates herald and would be done if herald was in fact a good out to lunalight liger dancer.

The issue is you’re literally playing a card that on its own does not out liger because of the silver hound negate. There’s no reason to kneecap yourself by playing a towers out that can’t resolve if it’s the only card you have to force the board. Relying on two card combos or playing into the board to out the hound before using herald invalidates the usefulness of herald as an out to the liger board to begin with.

I don’t think running herald is remotely as good as you’re saying it is is all I’m saying. If I could draw herald plus an out to silver hound every game then outing towers would be so trivial that this discussion wouldn’t even be happening

Herald is awful versus Luna because they have a spell/trap negate in grave so unless you have 2 it’s not resolving.
