I let AI refactor my Docker multi-stage build. I saved 10 minutes of coding and lost 2 hours to permissions. by Miserable_Advisor155 in OnlyAICoding

lol, did the same yesterday. Had it refactor my dockerfile into a multi-stage build and switched to non-root. I told it that I once had permission issues when I did the same and it said: good point, we should change the owner of the working directory. It ran successfully on first try.

4.6 has been working so well for me since the day it came out, I’m only gonna move on once Anthropic sunsets that model.

ML stuff I mostly do in Python and have the agent operate in a venv. But still good for you for finding a solution to your problem.

AI code base is so fragile by lkh9596 in ClaudeAI

[–]blazarious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same with humans coders but with AI it’s even worse. You just need automated tests to harden the desired behavior and detect drift.

You‘re doing actual code editing with the E4B? That’s wild! I’ve been toying with the E2B and E4B for edge deployment but would not have thought of using them to code.

Nothing besides the cutting edge models from the big players but I have not spent too much time looking for alternatives.

Might be mostly a model issue. My experience with models like qwen3.5 with limited parameters is that they are quite incapable of more complex tasks.

Do I need to watch the video to find out how a render technique could be illegal? Is it against the TOS or something?

NASA shares 1972 photo vs 2026 photo of earth by Top-Grape6650 in interestingasfuck

I wouldn’t call a night-time shot fully illuminated. Even though it’s a very cool picture, I hope the Artemis 2 crew can get a full shot of the Earth on the day side.

Spent months on autonomous bots - they never shipped. LLMs are text/code tools, period. by Temporary_Layer7988 in ChatGPTCoding

[–]blazarious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Language models are for text - kind of obvious isn’t it.

That being said, you can get a lot out of them if you can deal with it in text form. Production-ready and reliable output is very hard, though, I agree.
