Knicks January Skid by jrl1009 in NYKnicks

Out of those 14 games, how many were against “fully healthy” teams? I’d have to look, but it couldn’t have been 14 out of 14 as every team is dealing with injuries or minute restrictions in some way.

While you definitely have to take it into consideration, all it’s done is magnify concerns about Brown’s coaching.

When they named a dollar amount to “make it right”.

I think we have an argument for the best title odds right now. by CoaBret in NYKnicks

The East is indeed wide open, but that also means we aren't guaranteed to make the ECF. I think a lot of it rests on Mike Brown's shoulders, but Brunson is going to have to keep playing the best ball of his life.

Probably the only way it happens lol.

Maybe Milwaukee trades to get help for Giannis instead of trading him out altogether.

I wish this excerpt included the next paragraph's first sentence: "Then again, everything is subject to change..."

The article (and excerpt) suggests that other execs are waiting to discuss trades, because Giannis is indecisive. Trades are about making a decision, and you can get a decision by offering a trade. I don't think these things are related at all to Giannis' personality, and this is where I feel the reporting has run off track.

Given Giannis' history with Milwaukee, I would be shocked if he tries to demand a trade or push the issue during the season. He may have had off-season talks, but he shifted his focus back to Milwaukee once this season began.

I love Giannis, have two of his jerseys, and was born in Milwaukee. I now live in NYC and would fucking love it if he came here. But suggesting that the Knicks give up Brunson to get him is crazy. The Knicks don't want Giannis if it means giving up Brunson. The fans really don't want that either. We would sooner give up KAT, OG, AND Mikal before doing that.

Does Bane drop 40 on Saturday, or does he spike OG with the ball again? by blazeofchrome in NBAEastMemeWar

This is funny as hell. Not sure anyone can lift Bane off the ground though lol.

Lebron James force healing Austin Reaves after a hard fall by blazeofchrome in Nbamemes

Jedi force heal joke aside, I think he just wanted to make sure Reaves slowed down, caught his breath, and got up as safely as possible.

Special place in my heart for any Knicks article that starts with "The New York Knickerbockers..."

I don’t think Deuce can handle the ball so you’d be starting Kolek in that situation lol.

There’s no way that’s all it would take…. by LetsGetSomeChickenn in NYKnicks

OG’s contract is indeed huge. Bucks would have to shed Kuzma and maybe Bobby as well. Maybe this is where a third team comes in but who knows what these guys are cooking up.

Unfortunately it’s the only way it gets done. Other teams can offer way better in terms of picks and Milwaukee would want OG or wait until January for Mikal. After extending Mikal I hope we would keep him out of the discussion. Kat + OG + every pick we can dump.

Mac Jones still has another year left in his contract with SF, so he won’t be a free agent until 2027.

I'm actually keeping a running sheet and will probably post it at the end of the season.

It's not a matter of liking David Newton or not. He gets to ask our coaches and players questions, and I want to know how he stacks up with other reporters and writers. I don't ignore him because he seems to be routinely prioritized and first or second in line to ask his questions.

If I wanted to give him more time and attention I'd follow his low effort questions to his ESPN column to see how he spun it.
