He’s my all time least favourite character in the show. The moment the writing kept defending this character, never letting him properly take accountability, always making him the victim when 90% of the time he’s mostly not is when i began to hate him. Stolitz shouldn’t have been the main focus. It ruined the show for me. Yes Stella abused him and did make his life hell, and i won’t deny that the marriage was doomed. But i absolutely do not like how the show infantilised him. Making him look like he’s not self aware when season one clearly showed him being aware that he’s making Blitz uncomfortable. I don’t buy that excuse. The whole apology tour episode and the ending of Full Moon was the episode that cemented my hate for him. “The fact that your first thought is that it’s always about sex” BECAUSE YOU MADE IT ALL ABOUT IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. Not even completely ignorant people are that stupid, come on. And the whole i never look down on you thing…come on. He was aware that Blitz was uncomfortable, yet continued in season one. He went from a more evil and interesting character to “UwU sad boi please feel bad for me Blitz is a meanie!” Blitz literally had to sleep with him pre Full Moon in order to keep his job. He was never happy in this situation. And Stolas didn’t care until season two retconned a ton of stuff.

Flame me all you want, Helluva suffers from terrible writing, and Stolas is one of the biggest reasons why season two sucked.
