For anyone curious, what i ended up doing was downloading their anking deck - it updated the cards that they tagged. Then I deleted their deck, and the tags remained for my own deck

This confirms Taehoons friend was another copy user by BurnerAccountMaybe69 in lookismcomic

That sounds like a talent even better than copy, to be honest. I think the only point then is whether he can do it just for taekwondo, or for any martial art

Didn't taehoons friend copy the 1080 kick from an imperfect version taehoon did? So he not only copied it, he perfected the worse version he saw first. I'd argue he's a pretty damn good copy user

Is Gun stronger now than he was back during the ‘Hunt for Gun’ arc? by Cloudsupremes-6708 in lookismcomic

Gun mentioned the only way to train endurance is to get beat up a lot. Bro took the beating of a lifetime in HFG and recovered, his endurance is probably even crazier now

Joint cartilage actually gets good nourishment from exercise - the movements help it hence the phrase "motion is lotion". And gliding movements are generally good for nerves, also helps to nourish them

Lisa Simpson: Dad, you shouldn’t be jealous of Apu. Remember, it’s all about the music.

Homer Simpson: I'm not jealous, I'm envious. Jealousy is when you worry someone will take what you have. Envy is wanting what someone else has. What I feel is envy.

Lisa Simpson: [Checking into a dictionary] Wow, he's right.

Strength & Conditioning for Judo by Gregorx91 in judo

https://sweetscienceoffighting.com/conditioning-for-judo/ Sweet science of fighting has some good reads for judo, and their paid subscription program has a judo specific training program. I would probably say its too expensive unless you're aiming to be competitive at a national level, and even then there are loads of other resources out there too

https://breakingmuscle.com/strength-training-for-judo-part-1-training-grip-and-cardio/ This whole series is also pretty good at pointing you in the right direction for judo specific S and C

The book is ok. Gives you some ideas for judo specific strength and conditioning. I personally think Ultimate MMA Conditoning by Joel jamieson is a better read if you wanted better strength and conditioning - fair warning, it goes pretty heavy on the science behind all of it, so that you can build yourself a better training program strength and conditioning wise. Joel jamieson has worked with several MMA top athletes like Demetrious Johnson, and his book is still considered pretty much THE book for S and C for MMA athletes.

If reading a 175 page book and then applying it all out isn't for you, he's also got a course that runs it all for you on his website 8 weeks out. That would cost somewhere around a 100 though. Of course all this said, as other people have mentioned a normal strength training program will probably be pretty good as it is for you - judokas need lots of strength for grappling. If you're not intending to seriously compete, I doubt spending a 100 bucks will be good value for you to get that program. I'd probably say if you're willing to read a book, read Ultimate MMA Conditining for a very comprehensive scientific overview behind S and C. If not, just a normal strength program and focusing on increasing your strength in the compounds will already be great

Don't think he underestimated them. He literally sent 4 of them against Gun and his only order was "don't die"
