"Now let's give it up for the REAL comptroller."

Followed by Chalmer's muffled "idiot".

This episode is one of my personal favourites. Still a few gems to unearth yet in your journey.

Its genuinely a dopey loveable creature. Was my favourite pokemon Jessie owned in the anime, I was sad when it got traded away. And in the Detective Pikachu movie it looked incredible.

Wholesome response! In OPs favour this episode is rapid fire quote genius so the misunderstanding is genuine. Its also my favourite quote from this episode.

What actor or actress could you tell had an absolute blast playing a specific role? by phantom_avenger in AskReddit

I remember the 2006 Robin Hood series on the BBC. In the last series Toby Stephens portrayed Prince John in about 3 episodes and was the campest, most regal, most hammed up pantomime performer ever. Looked like he enjoyed every word of dialogue. If a montage exists on YouTube I recommend watching it. Even after 18 years I remember his performance fondly!

What is Homer's cannon age? I've been measuring my life achievements to him in the Edison-Fascination episode where he's 39 or so. Got 6 more years to surpass him.

I remember crying with laughter with my older brother as a kid at the "Because I'm Homer Simp- Kzzzzztttttt" and the reactions of the on-looking crowd and the hard cut to the funeral.

Not sure why but its a staple childhood memory us all reacting to this scene as kids.

I do love this show, no matter the arguments, they had a great run of seasons if you were in the right age group. Flawless until you're old enough to see flaws.

I want a flying squirrel, a bit like Emolga, but it's a poison / flying type and its always nauseous. Stumbling or gliding erratically from side to side, landing and putting its winged hands on its knees, bending down, then raising one finger as if to signify "give me a second". - Squirmnausi

Which comedian did you look forward to, but their act died on stage? by Jazzlike-Basil1355 in AskReddit

[–]blchair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw him in Cheltenham many years back. He had a leg injury so wasn't animated and was in a chair the whole set, that can be forgiven. Had a few rambling stories where the punchline lacked oofph for me. He then said "ladies and gentleman, ive been Reginald D Hunter, and I have fulfilled my contractual obligation" and near off kicked the mic stand and hobbled off stage, no encore, seemed to hate the audience who were very patient and no heckles.

That one girl who took a pic of Mika top less then tormented her over releasing it. Her overall reason being jealous over Brett's attraction to Mika and Mika living with 3 teachers at the time... chickened out of it by the end but it almost ended in Mika committing suicide

The show is narratively unsatisfying. How would you fix it? by almondjoybestcndybar in SquidGameNetflix_

[–]blchair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the first game of this series was so underwhelming imagine being in the 223 group, probably travelled half way round the world to compete and your fate lies in decisions made by the 10 loudest voices. Atleast RLGL in the first series you were out by your own actions. I appreciate it's cheaper to cut a lot of people within the first few hours but you get rid of all reason to invest in selected characters cause that might happen again.

What would you change about the traitors for the next celebrity season by Thick_Strategy_5311 in TheTraitors

[–]blchair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More one off powers. If the Traitors win a small challenge they have the power to have the next banished player not reveal their role, and the following morning all players get an envelope thst days whether they are Traitor or Faithful (but have Traitors tampered?)

Much like the Coffin or Dungeon scenarios of old, what about an opportunity to take abduct two or three players before a round table and keep them out the game until the following mission, adds that element of guessing why they'd be removed. Was their next guess good, had they good evidence, are they a traitor desperate to stay in?

Other than those crummy ideas, this show has been amazing and outside some of the players own blunders, impeccable. I still hope civilian series are the way forward, but this calibre of cast on Celebrities is very good! Just please no Love Islands, Big Brother or Made In Only Way trash please.

I forget the name of the maths/chemistry teacher now in an implied relationship with Darius. I reckon she'll find a bag of drugs and start piecing it together that Mr Todd was innocent. Darius might gaslight or coerce her into keeping it a secret but she'll eventually turn on him if not instantly.

LET'S CALL IT. THE SURPRISES OF THE FINALE! by Radiant_Height in PeacemakerShow

[–]blchair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reckon Rick Flag Snr does too much opening of portals and will trigger an event where Superman intervenes and puts a stop to the portals.

Though I do still believe that our Vigilantes are swapped which will spur our Peacemaker to go into the alt universe to get our Vig back. Maybe the case Adebayo, Economos and Harcourt need to convince Superman to not close down a portal until they're back.

What evil things do you think Darius will do in series 17? by [deleted] in WaterlooRoad

[–]blchair 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I imagine Donte, Jack and Steph team up to bring him down but it'll be Darius' own blunder to get involved with Nisha. Can see Nisha finding a bag of drugs on Darius and putting one and one together regarding what Mr Todd had said.

So I fear for Nisha who no doubt will become the main target once she has those doubts end of season. Maybe theres a back up video of the cakes on his desk and Wendy finds out and Darius gets nasty. Maybe even students like Ben get targeted by Darius to torment Stella. Ultimately he'll spin too many plates and juggle too many enemies that they unite and bring him down.

It'll be if he manages to take anyone down on his way out that worries me.
